If half stars were allowed, this would be a 3.5 star review. Compared to the Chino Latino spots I grew up eating at in Sunset Park, does it taste the same or as good? No. Does it get the job done? Yes. I didn’t know this location existed until it popped up on Ubereats. I only ever knew of the ones on Grand St and Myrtle Ave. Those New Apolos however have really rude staff so I decided to take a chance with this one. First time I ordered i got my usual which is the Chuletas combination with ham fried rice and a side of spicy garlic sauce. Everything was really underwhelming and the sauce was way too sweet. Rice wasn’t terrible but it was lacking flavor. Second time I decided to try their broiled fish with salad. I also got a side order of ham fried rice and it was waaaaay better the second go around. The fish had a good flavor but a weird texture and left me wondering how fresh it really was. I will definitely order again, it’s giving me a chance to explore the menu instead of getting the same ol’ stuff.

Food was ok. Ordered online late takeout out for pick up around 1 hr before close. The lo mein and shrimp fried rice were salty. Fried wonton lacked flavor and was particularly dry. Best plates were sweet & sour chicken and beef w/ broccoli. To go containers had a built-in metal handle, which was convenient to help carry them. Make sure to check your takeout bags before you go, as we had paid extra for chili oil sauce but never got them. By the time we got back to the hotel, it was too late to go back.

Small spot with good frozen drinks. Spanish/Chinese food... crackling chicken and fried rice was good. Rice was fresh and tasty. "Spicy garlic sauce" not spicy or garlicky, a little on the sweet side. Fresh garlic was better. Suicide margarita ALL SUMMER! Trust me!

This place seems to have good drinks, I haven't tried one, but I must say, there was a huge line for adult slushies. I rated one star because my meal wasn't at all what I expected. Maybe I am just unfamiliar with this dish and this is how it's supposed to be, idk. Anyways, I ordered spicy garlic shrimp with vegetables. It tasted like over boiled unseasoned, tough, shrimp in a large bowl of corn syrup based liquid. No spicy taste, no garlic taste. Just shrimp puddling in EXTREMELY SWEET liquid with onions, peppers, and a little broccoli. I personally do not like sweet food unless it's dessert. Spicy garlic sounds good but I felt really disappointed and didn't...

Very courteous staff, excellent service overall. Place looks good. I ordered sesame chicken twice with white rice and was great, although the sauce is a little too salty? Ordered some egg rolls once and I was not a fun of It; I would not get those again. Tried their chicken wings and thought they were great. Their pork fried rice was great too. Also tried the strawberry smoothie, piĂąa colada, and mango slushie and I was pleased with all three; just remember to shake your drink if you leave it idle for a couple of mins. I will try their other dishes and hope they...
