Did a take out order through Uber eat’s with a pick up in person order. The place was empty on a Sunday at 2.30pm , i walked in and waited for a few mins w no help. I made noise and grabbed a drink out fridge even slammed the door so someone came to help me but no! Finally i had to knock on kitchen door where a man looked at me and went back about his buiss.. Finally after another few mins I banged on the door. A Young women came out and looked at me like i was Crazzy, Im like I ordered -She goes you want to order ?! That took another 5 mins now its 2.40p and the Order said it would be ready at 2.38pm She informs me it’s not ready and to wait, So i do! After about 15 mins of waiting i walk back in and the women is help a buncha delivery guys and after she’s done 5-6 mins she looks at me and says pls call the customer and tell them we Have No Goat Bryani or Goat curry! Im Like What , Im the customer and if you have no Goat why wouldn't you tell me when i 1st walked in’ she reply’s we called the customer and couldn't get through! Long story Short I was there for over 25-30 before she tell me that they don’t have the 2 main dishes we ordered! Im like well give me a refund for those 2 items $16.99 ea So $35 , She says no i can’t you have to do it through it Uber! By time it was ready and i left it was 3.15p 1 hr and 25 mins after we placed the order! Again there were no customers in the place! The women was Very unhelpful and English was extremely hard to work with as a Language of communication! Took forever and did not even have our exact order, Easily could have told me about the Goat meat dish’s soon as i walked in and waited forever but choose not to! Get home and The food was MEH not terrible by any means but the chicken korma literally had no flavor (of course that was mine) the Kathi roll w Paneer was super soggy and filled lettuce and a Weird sweet type of sauce. The paneer was chopped into very little pieces and it felt like i was eating a vegetable wrap and could not even taste the Paneer! Hard Pass!! My Bro in law ate the Lamb shish kebab kathi roll and said his was good but also had that sweet sauce and Soggy lettuce! The tandoori chicken was the best out of all the food we ordered , Would recommend this if you go here to eat! In addition to our pretty annoying Sunday lunch , uber eats says Sorry we won’t refund you the $35 for the two dish’s you should have talked w the establishment Well I Did and the women was the one to tell me no and to get a refund from Uber! So my Niece called and the women said again no refund pick two other dish’s on Uber eats and do another order and she’ll add the 2 dishes we choose!! So after originally spending $136. We had to spend more $$$ and are still waiting for the food 1.5hrs after that phone call! I nor anyone in my family Will ever return to or eat at this Shady poorly run place and I would not reccomend This place for anyone else either! Idk why the Reviews are so good but that why I’m here to Share my ^^^^^^^^^Piss Poor exp.. That’s it, My 0.02 Cent’s...
Read moreThis new Indian restaurant seemed to replace the old one so my friends and I wanted to try it out. Before entering it was around 2 pm, nobody was seated but at least 2 people waiting in line. The atmosphere was very nice with the place very clean and tables ready for anyone to come in. There was some indian music playing in the store that also helped the atmosphere.
They had a menu printed out from a printer and we picked 3 dishes a classic Chicken Tikka Masala, A Lamb Tikka Masala, and a Goat Curry. We also ordered 3 Garlic nann that on the menu cost 2.99. When the person ringed it up the price was 3.50 and when asked about the extra charge they said it was a tax charge. When we got our receipt there was a tax charge anyway and the price of 3 garlic nann was still 3.50. The server then explained it was an "outdated price" on the menu. Overall for 3 dishes and 3 garlic nann cost around $60 and was asked to wait for 20 minutes for the food to come. We waited for about 35-40 minutes for our food and when were given our food they didnt hand us the garlic nanns and we had to ask for our garlic nanns. The service was poor and overall just not comfortable with how the server handled everything.
The food after waiting for around 35-40 minutes for it was overall just okay. The garlic nann did smell wonderful but it also overall taste okay. However, the portions for 50 dollars was small and for a long wait (my hand size for comparison) was overall just not a restaurant I would want to go back to. The service was not it and overall food was just okay but the wait and price was...
Read moreOk this place was just awesome; it’s the food! I fell in love with their butter chicken ,katti rolls and veg samosas! Loved the texture, taste and the spice level was just perfect for me ; at medium.
I can see the owner has put much thought into revamping the place from the way it looked before. So extra kudos to that; especially the wash area. And I’m hoping to see more of these finer touches in future
Food, I tried quite a bit - Puri n chole was really nice; chole was just how I like it and the puri texture was perfectly crisp. My friend got the battura and it was so plowy soft; a must try
Chicken butter masala; loved it! It’s slightly more tomato-ey, I definitely taste the cashews in there too. Extra brownie points there!
The tikka wings was a pleasant surprise and another game changer were their katti rolls! I took them home n had them for breakfast the next day; just awesome
Chai was good, though I needed slightly more sugar and mayb some spice to go with it but that’s just how I like it.
Butter naan was crisp and flaky; so good; what can I say I’m definitely coming back! You’ll should definitely try the butter chicken and get some katti rolls to go like I did lol
Unfortunately I ate it all and then remembered I had forgotten to take pictures but it’s all on...
