I ordered a pizza few days ago. I specifically put in the notes to just leave it at my hotel door. So what does the delivery driver do? Leaves it at the front desk. He did call me and confirmed what hotel I was in. I told him and all I could make out was I’ll meet you in the lobby. I was kind of irritated that he didn’t bring it to my door like I asked. I get to the lobby and he isn’t there. I check the tracker and it says it’s on its way still. I’m like ok that’s fine it did say 50-70 mins. I proceeded to wait 25 mins before I asked the front desk if he dropped it off. I gave them a second chance and ordered again tonight. Waited for over an hour before I checked the tracker and noticed it said delivered. I call the shop and the guy was like sorry I had to switch drivers but I remade the pizza and it’s on its way. I’m like ok whatever I understand. The delivery driver finally shows up 45 minutes after I called the restaurant. The pizza was Luke warm so he clearly lied and didn’t remake it. Read moreAlthough the pizza was good. The pizza was ordered at 2:55 and did not arrive until 4:30. Mind you it was one large plain pizza. (nothing crazy)The delivery time is absolutely unacceptable. I only have a 30 min break at 4 at work, which Is why I purposely ordered an hour in an advance thinking that would be more then enough time to have a pizza delivered. This is expected from a mom & pop pizza shop but not a franchise. Based on the reviews I am not the only one having issues with delivery time. I don't understand why more drivers have not been hired. How does one run a business like this successfully? Certainly cannot rely on Papa Johns on Forest Ave to deliver food in a timely manner. Sure will be bringing my business to Dominos or other pizzerias. Read moreI have no idea what the food is like because I live halfway across the country. I noticed someone got into my account and placed an order using my Papa John's rewards, so I immediately went and changed my password. I then called this store where the order was placed, briefly asked them to cancel they order, was met with "okay" then line disconnects. Called back a few minutes later and was told " I gotchu, why did you call back I said I gotchu, I'm very busy" then line disconnects. I had to double check and make sure I didn't call a friend of mine because that took me by shock. That's not even in the same realm as the phrase customer service. And to my surprise this place has an overwhelming amount of bad reviews EVERYWHERE. Management needs to take a serious dive into this store, and I have no idea how it's ran on-site, I'll let the other reviews...
