Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in New York

on November 25 at 4:38 pm at the papa johns store 161 west 231 street Bronx newyork 10463 I had made an order containing a large pizza ,8bbq wings && a chocolate chip cookie pie while putting in my contact information I unknowingly made an error with the last digit of my phone number so as I'm waiting for my order to arrive I see that I lost track of time and I still haven't gotten my order so I called the store very politely and asked what time should I expect my food to arrive? the lady that answered very nasty what's your address so I gave her my address then she says "oh...Ughh ..umm sweety we called multiple times and the driver has come to your building " I said no ..umm no one has called me or rung my bell I'm sorry " she says "uhh yea we did you put the wrong phone number ..YOU made a mistake " at this point I was taken aback at this lady's rudeness I can understand the frustration from this minor mistake but her attitude was just disgusting. So at this point we fix the issue and the driver calls me to come down and receive my order when I get down to him he stated I needed my state id and my bank card although I was truly upset at this point I understood that he just needed to verify who I am so as he's checking my information I asked him " if you guys couldn't contact me via phone you have my door number why not just come to my door ? I've already paid and tipped through the online system ." He says " ms. That isn't part of my job I just want to give you this food so I can go home ." With his answer I'm in shock I understand I made a mistake but these people are just plainly rude and they've taken it too far so I leave with my order because at this point if I waited for a refund it would take to long and I'm honestly starving I'm just ready to eat so as I make the plates for my child & I . I notice the pizza is cold my cookie is hard and my bbq wings well they were warm at least . I understand I made the mistake but as good customer service they could have at least warmed up my pizza if they weren't going to make me a fresh one none the least I'm am truly dissatisfied with the service I feel they could have handled this small situation so much differently than they did . although I've always ordered with papa johns I would hate for this situation to result in me not being a papa johns customer anymore . Hopefully when I go to speak with the manager of the store in the morning he/she will train her partners to handle these type of situations better

If I could give 0-stars believe me I would. Do not waste your money. the Bronx Location on 231st street order was the worst encounter I have ever had with papa John's. Food was supposed to be delivered over one hour ago and it was not. I called the store on 231st to find out where my delivery was and supervisor Anthony picked up. The nastiest individual I have ever dealt with in customer relations. He was rude, raised his voice, told me the company is ok with the driver sitting in their car four buildings away from my building so that I can walk to driver to get my food. I explained I have a toddler and a newborn and cannot walk all the way outside to pick up food but I am willing to meet the driver downstairs in front of my building and the supervisor Anthony once again told me that "what you want me to do if you don't like it take it or leave it". This is poor customer service and I will never order from papa...

Food was alright, same standard quality. I ordered kind of close to closing so that was my fault. But they could have chosen to not accept the order. I ordered at 12am and they're hours are listed open until 1:30am. The tracking on the order said it would arrive around 1:50. I hadn't eaten anything for 2 days, waiting for money to hit the bank. Spent about 40 dollars with them. By the time it was like 3am and still nothing was here I became desperate. So I had to go to the corner store and get a chop cheese , and ended up spending an additional 30 bucks all told. I get back home around 330am and eat my food, and when I woke up around 9am and went outside the pizza was in front of my apartment door. I tried calling to get a refund and they asked me why it took me so long to call them...
