Walked into this place and felt like I had gone back in time to the pizzerias of my youth. Everything, from the tables to the little brown placards describing what each pizza is, looked like the places my grandfather brought us to grab a bite to eat... except for the flat screen HD TV in the corner that blared Bar Rescue (which boyfriend and I happily sat next to so we could get our Jon Taffer on with the meal).
Speaking of the meal, the pizza was delicious. We had a regular slice, a penne slice, and a broccoli-ricotta-chicken white slice. I really loved the latter. The broccoli was fresh and crisp, not frozen and mushy, and the chicken and cheese were moist and flavorful. Usually slices like that have underwhelming veggies and dried out meat surrounded by lackluster, waxy cheese. Not so here! The regular slice and penne slice were also great. I was so upset that I decided to give my business to someone else. I called Pizza garden to complain to management because they should know that they are losing business and customers because of this man. The person that answered the phone didn't care. I WILL NEVER, EVER buy from Pizza Garden again. And to the old, rude driver....I whole heartedly...

When I had a paper route, and when I finished my route, on Saturday's, I would go across the street and have spaghetti and meatballs for lunch! Many many things have changed since I left my old neighborhood and moved to Nassau County, but the one few constants has been this fantastic "pizza place," which Mr. Ejnes used to make you feel that you were eating with family. All the best now that we both are in our 60's, and best wishes for another amazing...
