5/5 stars - Pizza Perfection!
"I just devoured a slice (okay, three) from Pizza Professor and I'm basically in a carb-induced coma. Their pizza is so good, I think I heard my taste buds singing 'That's Amore!'
Crust: Crunchy, cheesy, perfect. Sauce: Tangy, slightly sweet, and utterly addictive. Toppings: Fresh, flavorful, and generously applied.
The pizza gods have smiled upon this establishment. Don't bother with the gym; just eat here and accept your newfound pizza belly.
Pro Tip: Order extra napkins. You'll need them.
Will I return? Only every weekend. For the rest of my life.
Rating Breakdown:
Taste: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 (only because I ate too much and couldn't fit through the door)
To the owners: Please consider installing pizza-themed defibrillators. My heart (and stomach) thank you.
Update: I've returned. Multiple times. My...
Read morePicked up food from Pizza Professor Queens with some friends and oh my goodness what a place! There were so many unique options for pizzas, we couldn't decide what to get. The pizzas don't come in slices so we had to wait a few minutes for them to be made but they were all made fresh on the spot, which I loved because they weren't reheating old pizza. We could choose between a personal pie, a medium, large, or colossal sized. The large was probably the size of the average pie. We got the Mac and Cheese pizza, Penne Alla Vodka pizza, Jerusalem pizza, Garden pizza, and the Volcano pizza. They have dessert pies too so we got the Cookies n' Cream pie and the S'mores pie. The pies were so different than what I've had from an average pizza store and I cannot recommend it enough. I loved the choices and flavors. Bonus - they deliver further than most other restaurants. Definitely...
Read moreThis place has many different sized pies and very unconventional pies. They do not sell by the slice.
I got a personal 10 inch cheese pie with black olives, mushrooms, and jalapenos. It looked pretty good, but it did not taste very good. Firstly I think it should have been in the oven for a little bit longer, as the cheese was not thoroughly cooked (probably because I got a lot of toppings). And the cheese itself was not good either. Was a very thick processed like cheese. The crust was very doughy and chewy as well, so it had no crunch to it. There is not a lot of space in this place, so you most likely won't be eating in.
I think if I were to go here another time, I definitely would not be getting my pie with toppings, as I think the toppings did not allow the pizza to cook. It's a cool place that sells unconventional pies, but I don't think I will be...
