O-fish-ially the best poke in OC? @poketothemoon ((1500 E Village Way Ste 2221) is a new spot with 5 stars on Yelp for a very, very good reason. First of all, you can add bone marrow, truffle, or salmon skin to your bowl (+$4/+$5). Seriously, I was stoked about this poke before even taking a bite. They make their own “moon” sauce which is cajun garlic sauce. Spoon that over rice and that’s kinda all I need to eat. It’s a family owned spot, and you can tell they really really care about the food they’re making. Even the spicy mayo is specifically home made and extra delicious. Also, the prices. They’re REALLY good. The poke nachos being only $13 is wild. Usually I’ve had similar bowls run me $17, and they’re nowhere near this flavorful. Do yourself a favor and try all of the sauces - DOGE, APE, and MOON - they’re all handcrafted and made with love and you can really taste it. They were SO nice and I’ll be back for sure. Would you get it bougie? . . . #foodreel #poke #feedfeed #eater #wheretoeat #new #bougie #Bonemarrow #orange #orangemall #cityoforange

Nice place could use less packaging. Wanted to try the poke bowl but was swayed by their ad for the addictive crack rice sushi. That was a mistake. Basically sushi with crispy rice. Some pieces were piping hot some freezing cold. Seemed kind of random. The packaging was wasteful. Worse of all, the sushi pieces did not even fit into the sauce tubs rendering the enter packaging useless. Stick with the poke bowls. The ingredients looked fresh and plentiful. I just wish these places gave those who dine in the option of using reusable containers/plates. Hate seeing those plastic bowls go into the trash after every poke bowl. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Super delicious poke with tons of protein, topping, and sauce options! The raw fish options tasted really fresh, and the cooked proteins and tofu are a good alternative for friends and family who may be wary of the raw fish in traditional poke bowls. One note - the house sauce has a bit of wasabi in it, which I know can be a bit polarizing! If you want to avoid the wasabi, the standard ponzu is a good alternative to flavor your bowl.

Aweful service! 2nd time they fail to provide good service! I will definitely not be back nor will I refer this place! I just cant tolerate rude business its just not right. K just asked to SLIGHTLY modify my order not to go way over but slightly and they give me straight face like oh that will cost you EXTRA $3.50. For freaking what?! Hello, you should think about customer service you morons. Its not like i am asking you for free food! I was still willing to pay you but guess what now i will as much as i can spread the word to not go to you cause you are not the only poke place. Thank you but...

Overall this place was extremely underwhelming. Despite shelling out nearly $17 for a medium sized bowl with 2 proteins, the actual serving was quite small and the taste was bland to say the least. Extremely disappointing. The atmosphere picking up my order was chaotic, with no order or logic to the process. Would not order from here again.

For context: I ordered a 2 protein bowl with raw tuna, and raw salmon, 6 mix-ins, the terriyaki sauce, white rice base, and a couple other items. The dish was extremely underwhelming and I couldn't taste the sauce at all. I asked for kimchi and got two...
