In my 20 years of life on this forsaken rock, I have NEVER encountered such an experience that would make me RUE the day I ever graced the very fabric of food. The very bowels of the underworld that grace the sewage waste dumps of that of Hades PALE in comparison to the putrid, lascivious, substances I was served at this very wretched establishment. I could've had just tree leaves on my plate and it would be comparable to such a dish. The cheese wheel pasta was an amusement of a dish, laughable to the likes of THEE, a lad of such humility and grace. You pathetic, fatous, self gloated ones who run this dilapidated space have no idea what's called shame. My night has been utterly ruined for me and mi dear lady who were having a great time prior, only to waste 82 dollars down the drain in the snap of a finger. Absolute lust trap, catfish of a bait you guys leave here on google maps and social media leaving appealing dishes to view here just to lure poor blokes into your unseasoned pasta factory. The meat in the dish would've been better off just been substituted by the saltiest burnt steak in the world and even that wouldn't even remotely be close to how heart piercing, blood pressure rising, pass out type of salty the meat was. I ate one piece and instantly regretted even walking within the 50 mile radius of this waste dump. Service was a clear facade as they saw me completely unable to even enjoy the dish a little bit, trying to appease to my already vanished mercy. Disgusting experience, clearly unsanitary in certain areas, trying so hard to keep up with the new age modern art but was completely unappealing to the eye. The very demonic entities that unfortunately run wild in this world would've rebelled and put the title of utmost shame on such a revolting, repellent, nauseating, stomach churning, repulsive place. The fact that anyone would even have the appropriate metron to even begin to call this sustenance anything remotely close to edible. I demand this spot to not only be closed down but to be completely revamped to have hope for the future at repairing their seemingly irreversible mistakes. Literal pests and insects of great filth see this place as a suitable home as seen in past reviews of other poor blokes that has been reeled in by these peons, and has even been bold enough as to show themselves loud and proud to the people unfortunate enough to see such a horrid, deplorable sight. My message to all of my peers is simply this...stay as far away as you possibly can from this space, and do not support the very bigotry that is going on in that place, and I will SURELY NEVER EVER show my face to such a scurvy setting, and will simply scoff at the very sight of such...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant spontaneously and decided to give it a try. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some highlights and a few letdowns, but still worth considering if you’re in the area.
the Ambiance: The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, though nothing particularly special or memorable. It’s a nice spot if you’re looking for a comfortable place to dine, but it doesn’t stand out in terms of decor or vibe.
the Service: The service was truly outstanding and easily the highlight of our visit. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being intrusive. He also had a great sense of humor, which added a personal and enjoyable touch to the experience. On top of that, he provided excellent recommendations that showed genuine care and knowledge about the menu.
the Food: This is where things fell a bit short. We started with the bruschetta, which was just okay. The bread was toasted too hard, making it difficult to enjoy. A good bruschetta should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and unfortunately, this missed the mark.
We also tried the buffalo mozzarella appetizer served with pesto. While the presentation was nice, the flavors were fairly standard and lacked any real wow factor. It was decent, but nothing that left a lasting impression.
For our main courses, we ordered pasta, which was fresh and well-cooked. However, the dishes again lacked any distinct or memorable flavors. If you’re looking for exceptional, standout pasta, this might not be the place for you. That said, the food quality was solid, just not extraordinary.
the Price: For three people, including two appetizers, the total came to $210, which felt a bit steep for what we received. While the service was amazing and the food was good, the overall experience didn’t quite justify the price tag.
If you’re looking for a place with great service and a comfortable setting, this restaurant is worth a visit. However, if you’re after an exceptional culinary experience or something unique, you might want to explore other options. It’s a good spot for a casual night out, but the high prices and unremarkable flavors may not make it the best...
Read moreIt really saddens me to write this review because I've been coming to Pasta Eater since they opened back in 2019, back when they were BYOB before they received their liquor license. Food and service was always amazing but this past weekend has completely changed my experience, disappointed by the quality of service, food and hospitality in general.
We had reservations for my birthday dinner at 8 PM on Saturday, and we sat at 8:50 PM. When we checked in, we were told that we would have to wait some time to get seated. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we checked in again and were told “this is not a morgue, people are eating”... and after about 50 minutes of waiting, outside in December, we were sat at our table. If you do not know how to flip tables, want to honor reservations, or have a staff that's capable of running reservations, simply do not take reservations, or reservations for large groups.
They squeezed us into a table that was not meant for 12 people. We were practically touching each other the whole entire time, as well as the customers beside us, anytime we got up. We were also given folding plastic chairs for half of the party. We didn't receive water for about 25 minutes after being sat, we received our napkins after our appetizers, no one checked on us if the food was good, drinks were good or if we needed refills of water.
Our main dishes were completely rushed and definitely not up to standards. Sauces were runny and watery, when they're normally thicker, guanciale for carbonara was rubbery, undercooked and not crispy, pastas were definitely undercooked (not al dente at all). I can't imagine a restaurant being okay with serving the quality of food that they served us. We also saw others getting offered grated cheese and black pepper and we were never offered that.
This completely ruined my birthday, completely ruined my experience at Pasta Eater, and I will no longer be coming back here, or recommending Pasta Eater to all my friends and family. I feel completely betrayed by one of my favorite restaurants, by the food, service,...
