I work in the airport and often times crave Mexican food for dinner, many times I regret ordering from QDoba. The food tastes different, depending in who is cooking that day. Sometimes over seasoned food is sold and salty enough to run your blood pressure up. They run out of certain foods after a certain time of the day very often and dont prepare more until the next day. Also the food looks and smells like it has been sitting out forever. Many of the staff members have nasty attitudes and aren't customer friendly at all. They are short with the food and you usually have to ask for more. Depending on who works there that day, certain people refuse to make your food they way you ask for it. And the best time I was there, I didn't like the way my burrito was made so I told them to keep it, and the young man that prepared it, opened it back up, added meat to it and sold it to the dude behind me. And occassionally the same person preparing the food, and rolling the burritos also works the register and youd be lucky if they remember to take the gloves off after touching dirty money at the register because thise same gloves may be used to prepare your food and roll your burrito....yuck. I was going to give it one star but I will give it two because the food usually tastes better than the lousy customer service, but they have to do better. It has potential but most of the workers and often times lack of ingredients makes it a second class eatery and it shouldnt be that way, located in one of the biggest and most popular airports...
Read moreThe owner of this establishment is arrogant, nasty and treated his employees so wrong. He spoke to his employees very rudely right in front of the customers. (Not everyone moves on a fast pace.) One of the employees were not moving fast enough for him. He seemed upset due to another order not being ready. The owner grabbed the food out of his hand and said “your not doing this right, let me show you”. Then proceeded to make the customers order himself. I felt so bad for the young man. Yes I gave him a peace of my mind when I got to the register. I spoke up for that young man. He does not deserve to be treated like that. You can tell he was very scared to say something. So I said something for him. The owner needs to be a mentor to these young man. Train and teach them the proper way to make the food. This was definitely a very bad experience for me. I will never go to this establishment again. I pray for those employees that they get a new owner who treats them 10x better then that...
Read moreThe service here is amazing! I ordered something and i thought it was something different (dumb me) and they kindly explained me that's how they serve it, i gladly ate it and it was very good. I had just arrived in NY and my internet service wasn't working and the waitress gave me some internet from her own personal phone. The management is not very kind to their employees though (the main reason why i took out 2 starts). A manager or supervisor yelled at a waiter and waitress in front of me and she didn't even care that i heard her, they later told me that is normal with her. They should treat their employees better, that reflects into...
