Okay so the restaurant is in LaGuardia airport and yes the atmosphere is not all that beautiful nor is it comfy nor is it attractive. So you would think that the food would make up for it but it did not. My French fries were hard and my sandwich was not tasty at all. I ordered a glass of wine and there was a piece of paper or something on the glass. When I bought it to the attention of the waitress she simply said it's not on the inside it's on the outside to wipe the glass and she refused to take it back and give me another glass of wine. I was not happy. I had taken one sip before I noticed the item that was on the outside. It did not look like a piece of paper to me it look like some type of slimy mucus. Nonetheless I was disgusted and I did not drink it. Did I pay for it at the end of course they refuse to take it off the bill. The place was very busy and I was not intended to as I thought I would be because they were at least four to five waitresses at hand. The prices are expensive as to be expected inside of an airport. Nonetheless there are other restaurants you should try in LaGuardia and I suggest that you do. This is definitely not a spot to come and enjoy good food if you are hungry. To sit at the bar and have a drink just be sure you don't have some strange material floating in your glass or on the outside because the waitress I had will not serve you another glass that's clean. I will...
Read moreI visited Hunt and Fish last Friday around 4 PM, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I arrived, there was no host or anyone at the door to greet me. Several servers passed by but no one acknowledged me or offered to help me get a table. After a while, I finally got seated, but it took a long time before a server came over to take my order.Frustrated, I decided to move to the bar instead. I sat in a corner behind a computer, and I quickly realized why service throughout the restaurant was so slow—there were multiple people behind the bar, just standing around and chatting with each other instead of helping customers. It’s unacceptable to receive this level of service at a place where a cheeseburger costs $35 and a beer is $20.To make matters worse, I had originally tried to eat at the Mexican restaurant nearby, but the service there was just as poor. I ordered a bowl, and it was terrible. That’s why I chose to come to Hunt and Fish, hoping for a better experience, but was let down again.I really hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving...
Read moreThe service was terrible from beginning to end. I waited at the host stand to be seated and was ignored by both people working. They continued to service others already dining without acknowledging my existence. “Be with you in a moment” would have sufficed. Finally as one of them passed by I asked if I would be seated or if I am to seat myself. Waitress then said she would seat me. I was seated with no menu or silverware and sat there for 15mins with again no acknowledgment. When the other waitress passed by I asked for a menu and she gave me one. Another waitress arrived and took my order, and i got a water and coffee. What’s pictured is the $24 breakfast two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast. Food arrived pretty quick server asked if everything was okay and never checked in again. I never received a water refill, had to ask for more coffee, and had to ask for my bill after my plate was removed 10mins prior. My experience with this establishment was terrible and the food was way over priced. I would dine there again when...
