First of all, I could say that this place is going to be a new gem on the 8th Ave. for sure! I was just planning to come in and check out this new place(and probably get something for take out)on the way home but I realize that they are serving Thai🍲🌶️ and Mexican🌮🌯food!!! What a great combination since Thai and Mexican are among my most favorite cuisines and this made me change my mind to dine in instead of taking it to go.

I decided to go pretty simple by signature dishes from each culture with the shrimp Pad Thai and a beef Taco. The shrimp Pad Thai is very authentic because I could taste a sweetness and tanginess from the real tamarind juice. That’s how you tell when you taste a real Pad Thai same as the one you taste in Thailand. On top of that, shrimps that come with the Pad Thai were big and has a good bouncy texture which means they were very fresh. For a taco, I could say that I got a lot of beef for a single taco and they were juicy as well. The best thing is the chef came out and serve the Taco by himself with a big smile on his face 😊😁 and I think that was the best part!

The service was top notch both from the FOH and the BOH (special thanks to the Taco’s chef!). The ambiance was relaxing and made you want to stay longer at this place. Towards the end of my meal, I learned that they also serve American Breakfast in the morning. So this is like a 3-in-1 place with American Breakfast, Thai and Mexican!!! I would definitely come back to try their Breakfast and I would also bring friends and family in the...

Let’s mix together American breakfast, Mexican delights, and Thai cuisine and we will get Scramble restaurant. As you walk inside, you will notice a shack-like interior with dow-to-earth decorations which really brings out the vibe. Manager Poom took care of us today with the utmost hospitality and brought us to our table. You can even choose to sit onthe stairs as a seating bench for one of the tables. Happy hour specials are from 5-7pm so don’t miss out. Scramble has excellent cocktails and mocktails to start with. Move onto their homemade appetizers with Mexican and Thai flavors. Are you adventurous? Then choose the Ka Kob which are deep fried frog legs and yes, it tastes like chicken if you wondering. Their mudsamun curry is super flavorful and goes perfectly with a bowl of rice with drenching curry. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert so that’s definitely for next time to try. Serving breakfast and brunch from 10-3pm and Mexican with Thai from 5-10pm, there sure is an excuse to come anytime to try Scramble’s delicious dishes!
