I ordered the lamb gyro the meat was in little cubes not shaved meat shawarma like I am use to. All of the cubes of meat fell out of my pita sandwich including the sliced tiny cherry tomatoes, made it impossible to eat. Mozzarella sticks breading was terrible had no flavor the marinara sauce they give you with them was good. Also ordered a grilled chicken ceaser salad it was a small frozen piece of chicken cutlet thrown on the grill was not even sliced thru into pieces it stayed as one whole piece of cutlet on top of my salad I had to come home & cut up the chicken. Generous amount of croutons & lettuce Ceasar dressing was good. Really wanted to like this place but Not too thrilled about the food. I have now given this place 3 chances and I will not be back I tried the chicken shawarma gyro. I saw the meat on the spinner & was happy I was going to get thin shaved meat. NOPE pieces of chicken pulled from a bucket thrown in a pan tasted terrible again the meat fell out of my sandwich all over my plate & floor. You would think the same complaints from many people about the shawarma not being shaved that they would of changed their ways. If you have to pre cut the meat why isn't it shaved thin off the spinner & placed in a bucket. I was about to order the lamb again also When I saw the lamb was still cubed I said no way. This is the same way halal munchies meat is & they are honest & said that is the way it is delivered to them & I stopped buying gyros from them as well. I will stick to my greek spots that actually shave the meat thinly off the spinner & grill the meat. This place is good for all the people that go next door & smoke hookah & have...

“Tell us how youI would like my shawarma?
I would like it not nasty, and reheated in a pan, with hard chunks that hurt my teeth to chew. The bad reviews are true.
My hand had oil DRIPPING all over.
The fries were frozen, and sitting out soggy
If you want good quality, go to Levantine Shawarma and Grill in Wyckoff. You get good fresh food, for cheaper than this place.
At Shawarma Pita, the employees were very respectful, and were NOT rude, like the reviews say.
What I ordered here at ‘Shawarma Pita’ was terrible. Despite the negative reviews, I wanted to give this place a chance!
I ordered the chicken shawarma pita which came with a side of fries.
I’m still spitting out HARD rock like chunks of shawarma chicken, as I type this. The fries were SITTING OUT in a silver bowl, when I walked in.
I REGRET my purchase, and wish I just continued walking after I left the first time, but my friend recommended it to me.
Please improve your quality. I want to give this place a second chance, but not until it gets better.

Read morei feel all the AMAZING reviews are from either friends or family... because the place honestly is not all that. they are over priced for little amount of food. i got 2 combo platters and one chicken platter. EAch came with meat, rice, pita and fries.. and when i opened it was 60% fries, one scoop of meat literally it was almost nothing and some rice... and one pita. the pita was nice because it wasnt typical pita. but the platter was a bunch of fries. sauces were on the side. the meat was not exactly marinated it was plain salt pepper dry meat... soo would i go back.. NO. would i recommend -nope. at least match the quantity for the price..
updated after seeing the response from them: no brother - ur food was not worth it and i would not recommend. Platter filled with fries is not considered a platter. And grow up and accept the review instead of being an immature fool and having google review...
