Glen Oaks Deli and Grocery — Restaurant in New York

Don't let the facade and interior fool you. Even if the store isn't squeaky clean, the deli is on point! Better steak and cheese than I've had in Philly! Staff is friendly and chatted it up with me while I waited for my sandwich and recommended some rainbow cookies for dessert (they were really good.) Also I had paif for my order before it eas ready and wanted to exchange the chips I had already paid for some new ones I noticed while waiting. He didn't even bat an eyelash and said "no problem" and even paid me the difference. I know it seems like that's what should happen, but a lot of people would grumble and sigh or give you a hard time for a simple thing like that. This guy didn't. When I'm back on the area you can bet I'm getting another steak and cheese! Like I said I've had Geno' s, Pat's and a couple others in Philly... This place blows them out...

This is a very good place place especially for breakfast and coffee.. the sandwiches are very good, delicious and are reasonable price than other places.. the coffee is also good.. They have variety of salads too..

The combos of coffee and rolls for breakfast are very good and cost less than other places.. They also have snacks and other essential items... The staff is very helpful and courteous.. The place is kept clean and well maintained.. Overall a good place.. we will visit again...

This is my go to deli when I’m on my way to work. I’ve been coming here for over 3 years. I get my lottery and my sandwiches. Sandwiches are amazing!! From breakfast to your afternoon cold cuts. The morning shift always help me with my option choices because there’s so many and it depends on my mood. Lol but overall...
