Great Spot for Coffee & Light Bites
I love coming to Slate Cafe for coffee and small bites like croissants and bagels. They also have a good selection of sandwiches and salad bowls- nothing mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable.
The space has a modern, minimalist vibe-high ceilings, clean counters, new equipment, and simple chairs and tables. Thereās a touch of greenery with fake plants, which adds to the aesthetic. Personally, I prefer a more traditional setting with real plants, but this still works well.
Iāve been here 4-5 times, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. They take care of small details, like having an open cutlery section and a drinking water tap for easy access.
Itās also a popular spot for people working on laptops. They provide WiFi, and the music is at a comfortable level, so youāll often see people taking calls. Thereās a 1.5-hour sitting policy, which makes sense given how many people come here to work.

I love the Optimism of this new place. The little details, messages, the positive wall. A wall of positivity! Serving up fresh peppers in season - at a coffee place - how cool is that? Yes...
