Took my daughter for a painting session because it was her 12th birthday. I was pretty nervous, because I wasn't sure if she would enjoy it, she is more on the introverted side ..lol..and she don't like doing things in crowds like I do..lol...I didn't know what to expect because this was my first time going to this particular location. However I took her and I have to say she ENJOYED every second of it, she even asked for for us to go back. I agreed with her on that one. The painting instructor was awesomely welcoming and very detailed and clear on how to do the painting..no rushing but timely painting, she assisted frequently with whatever questions you asked, and she took her time to come around to see how your doing and if you needed advice or help on your painting progress, she is more than happy to assist..The atmosphere was calming and smoothing..not a large large place, but a great enough size with enough room to maneuver to take photos of your work. I would diffinately recommend this place to anyone trying to just learn new things like arts.. especially if your shy or don't like to be in crowded area...this place is pretty much a nice small group sessions...it was like 8 to 9 of us when we went, just to give an idea of how small the group may be at times...I loved it and I can't wait to take my 8yr son as well...He was unable to go to this session, because this session was for 12ys and up ....which worked perfectly because we had some...
Read moreLovely experience with the instructor, Deidra (sp?). I haven't painted since primary school and the instructions and guidance she provided made the experience so easy going. I even kept joking about my 'embellishments' on my painting with my friend, since I wasn't sure how a certain piece of it would go. It was very much part of the fun and "art making." As well, when I asked, Deidra provided some coaching and nice suggestions to this novice which in turn I learned a lot about layering using acrylic paints, and this makes me want to do more painting. She kept the class on a good pace while, at times giving individual instruction, and allowing bits of extra time for folks to finish up a part before moving on, and then when she continued the instructions for the next part she reassured folks that they can return to the previous part. In other words, an amiable instructor while giving us the free time to play with our paintings. It was a nice birthday celebration experience for my friend and I. Looking forward to attending another class!!
ps - Not my painting but the example that was used. I took a pic of my friend's painting but not my own during...

So to answer the response provided... I take it you do recall our interaction by your reply. As such you know who I am, correct! Now, my absence would have left at least two seats available on a "busy" day correct? So there's no reason if even an automated one, why I'd gotten an invite to review! of which it states thank you for attending, correct! Its more likely you filled those seats and because there were no vacancies, the review invites went out without a hitch. So no I had no plans on reviewing an event I hadn't attended but for the fact that you guys weren't thorough enough not to send me a review invite. Hence you played yourselves by being greedy. So I missed the deadline by 16 mins correct. However that's just enough time for you to throw in a standby on your most busiest time of the year. Play Nintendo and please stop responding I don't think this will work out how you plan, seeing is how planning isn't...
