I’m writing this review while the experience is still fresh—I just came back from the grand opening of Somedays Bakery Bayside, located in Bay Terrace. As a frequent visitor of their Long Island City location (which is absolutely amazing), I was thrilled to see this new spot open closer to home. The space itself is light, airy, and incredibly inviting. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot to relax with a coffee and pastry. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, which only adds to the charm of the place.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because wow. Their croissants are unreal—from the crab Danish to the hot dog croissant to the peach chai Danish, each one is buttery, flaky, and full of flavor. Don’t even get me started on their cookies—soft, rich, and absolutely addictive.
Their coffee is always brewed to perfection, and their soft serve is the perfect sweet finish.
If you’re anywhere nearby, you need to check them out. It’s truly a gem, and you won’t be...
Read moreI just visited the new Someday's Bakery at Bay Terrace shopping mall, and it turned out to be such an enjoyable day with my family. The staff and owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, always eager to assist. There are so many savory and sweet options to choose from. New croissants we tried were the heirloom heat, hot dog and crab croissant and wow all were fantastic. The cold brew coffee (actual cold brew, not iced coffee) was excellent and the raspberry lemonade was both tasty and refreshing, along with their soft serve ice cream. We were able to enjoy our food outside while the kids played right in front in the newly renovated outdoor space. We will definitely...
Read morePretty cool new addition to Bay Terrace. I was looking forward to frequenting them during my breaks, but it seems that they are open only 2/5 weekdays and the weekend which is a bit confusing and disappointing. Saw a sign on the door the Monday after opening that read “sold out- thank you Bayside” which also raised an eyebrow because they just opened and how does a bakery sell out? The savory pastries are worth trying (heirloom heat and spinach ricotta swirl? were both delicious) although $15 for a savory croissant is a high price point. Also a note on the drinks- I’ve tried both the mocha and chai latte on the day of opening, but I’ve had much better. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was opening day, and will give their coffee a shot...
