I decided to try this new place (new since I haven't been in the area for some time) on 13th Avenue, and was full of expectations since the menu sounded so good. Unfortunately, I am super disappointed by the Signature Pita Sandwich, which costed me $9. The Signature Pita Sandwich was definitely NOT worth that much since it was so thin in size. There was hardly any chicken in the sandwich, maybe at max 5-6 cube-sized chicken pieces. The chicken was also very charred, and the spice was not strong enough. The sandwich didn't taste bad, but it wasn't great and certainly was not memorable. I even got an extra Tzatziki sauce (2oz), making my total $11. The Tzatziki sauce was oddly thick and paste-like, perhaps it's their style? However, service was good and...
Read moreSmaller than the Bay Ridge location, but just as delicious. The food is of great quality and taste. The lunch special includes a side of soup or fries, or a small salad for a couple of bucks extra. The fries are regular thick cut fries, which I prefer over the fries at the Bay Ridge location. The seating can be problematic for medium to large parties. They have three small two-seater tables inside and a couple of tables outside without any shade. If you need to accommodate a party larger than four, than check out the Bay Ridge location. This location is great for very casual lunch or...
Read moreIt was our first time eating from here. We ordered a chicken souvlaki sandwich, a burger, and a salad. The burger and salad were good, although the burger was definitely medium-well instead of medium like I asked for. The chicken souvlaki was a big disappointment. The fries inside were soggy, the two small pieces of chicken were very dry, and overall it was skimpy and bland. It could have benefitted from some extra lettuce, tomato, fresh herbs/lemon juice/olive oil. I really hope they improve because a good Greek restaurant would be amazing in this...
