Today, I ordered takeout for my family, but unfortunately, the meal was not at all what we expected. The chili chicken we received didn’t taste like chili chicken at all, which was fine, but the real issue came when my nephew took a bite and immediately spat it out, saying the chicken smelled off. We all tried it, and the overwhelming smell of old oil was unmistakable. It was so bad that we immediately knew we couldn’t serve it to the children or elderly family members at home. I was genuinely worried that the food might make us sick.
I immediately called the restaurant to let them know about the issue, not asking for a refund or exchange, but simply to inform them so they wouldn't make the same mistake with another customer. I explained that the oil used for frying clearly wasn’t fresh, and they needed to be more careful about food quality. However, instead of being receptive, the restaurant staff insisted that they were using fresh oil and outright denied the issue. Despite my explanation, they were dismissive and defensive, which was very disappointing. It’s not about the chili chicken not tasting as expected; it’s about the fact that we were served food that could have been unsafe, and the staff didn’t seem to care.
What bothered me even more was the rude attitude I encountered when my sister called back to remind them. She wasn’t even planning to leave a negative review, but the staff’s dismissive tone was unacceptable. In situations like these, it would have been much more professional and customer-friendly to apologize for the poor quality of the food, acknowledge the mistake, and assure us that they would take steps to improve. Instead, they insisted everything was fine, which made us feel like our concerns didn’t matter at all. I really hope they take this feedback to heart and make the necessary changes, not just for the sake of their customers, but also for the safety and quality of the...
Read moreWe ordered food for pick up through phone and their telephone audio was HORRIBLE. So my sister could not understand what the lady working at Spicy Tibet was saying and had apologized many times while asking for the customer service lady to repeat what she was saying. The employee who answered our phone gave us such an attitude while saying “oh my god”… I’m wondering why? We did nothing wrong. Why did she complain about how busy the restaurant is to us? We are just another customer. It is not our fault for how busy things are, your job is to take our order which we were respectful about. My sister did not deserve to be spoke to with such disrespect. Food taste alright, it was just more bitter eating such food after being spoken rudely by your employee. The cashier was fine, she said she will tell the lady who spoke on the phone with us but honestly that will not change her rude behavior. Horrible customer service. Fix that attitude when people are coming to you kindly. I’m really disgusted and hope she learns to look in the mirror within herself to fix her own issues before talking...

We ordered a bunch of order through Uber eats (9 items). I received only 2 chowmein and a gyuma. When I reached out to the uber eats driver, he said he only got 2 bags, with different delivery addresses. So I called Spicy Tibet, the girl on the phone was its not our fault, I sent the food,. I dont know anything else. The attitude with which she talked to a paying customer was absolutely terrible. I am shocked and surprised at how Spicy Tibet's owner hires people with these kind of attitudes. No matter how many times I tried to explain the situation to her she was not listening at all, and kept repeating the same thing over and over again in a rude way., and said I don't care you are not going to get a penny back when we requested for a refund. Never ordering from here again. Shame on spicy Tibet for treating your customers in such a bad way. I don't care about the missing food, it was the way they talked...
