Read moreDon’t judge this place by its looks! The food was incredible and the owner was SO kind and happy to serve us.
We had the Johl Momo (Chicken) - it was incredible. Everything was made fresh. The chicken momo was juicy, and the johl was rich and delicious. We also tried the Sel Roti which is almost like a donut made from rice flour - but it is not a dessert, more like a breakfast. It was on the savory side.
I also had the masala chai to drink - it was honestly really good and I’d come back for that alone. It wasn’t pre-sweetened like many places do, which made me very happy. Sugar was available on the side if you prefer.
When you first walk in, you won’t see much seating but don’t let that scare you off - just to the left when you walk in is a staircase leading downstairs to a larger area with more seating.
Definitely give this...
Read moreSmall Nepali style cafe with good vibes and great food at great price too. I tried selroti with chatani, chiya (tea), khasi ko bhutuwa and jhol momo. Don’t have big space and might have to wait but the food tastes so good, its worth waiting. Khasi bhutuwa, momo, sel roti, mango lassi, chicken, chowmein, everything was great. My favorites are khasi ko bhutuwa and chicken chowmein. Though it’s name has momo in it, jhol momo was okay, not great. Kima was not well cooked and proportionated. They have wide variety of sauce options. The staffs are friendly as well. They have other great food options too including chat patey, wai wai sadheko (superb tasty), thali, khaja set( not so great), momo varieties and so on. Been here...
