Starbucks — Restaurant in New York

2 friends and I bought beverages (chai lattes, decent, but not remarkable). We were sitting for about half hour when we were alerted that the place would be closing in 10 minutes. Fair enough. I immediately get up to use the bathroom. I'm prevented from entering because they already "sprayed" and I'm told I have to wait at least 15 minutes (5 min past their close time, when they told us we have to leave by). But it's obvious to me they really don't want us to use it or wait 15 min as they've just cleaned it for the night, and their tone makes it obvious, plus they tell me to just use the Subway bathroom, basically they send me to another venue I haven't even patronized. Because you know, Subway loves it when you go in there just to use their bathroom but you buy your drinks at Starbucks. This is poor service at its worst. If you're going to spray the bathroom please alert people BEFORE, so that those of us with bladders can make arrangements. Especially if you're going to close for the night and we've been sitting there anyway, having purchased large drinks. Updated 12/20: Just close this place now! Every time I come here it’s just a miserable experience. First of all usually no reply when I greet Cashiers.

Second if I put in a request with the person taking my order don’t just nod and not write it down or inform the barista making my drink.

Third do not get agitated or roll your eyes or give me attitude if I put in a request with you (the barista) since I noticed that the cashier did not give you my request. Forth… do not roll your eyes at me or get agitated if I ask you to make my drink again because you failed to follow the instructions.

After maybe seven or eight failed encounters I just give up on this place.

Redeemed some stars to get a drink think morning, showed up 2 min after order was placed on the app, there was a drink sitting behind the pickup shelves with the letters, so only an employee can see what the drink or tag is. Waited 5-6 minutes for my drink to be made thinking I came in too early, all while the barista was making drinks and placing them on the pick up shelves. Once they finished making all the orders they finally decided to check for the drink that was being hidden away and then said my name out loud. So I walked up to receive a drink that was extremely poorly made and cup 1/4 empty and ice melted. Not sure what the reason was behind any of those odd actions as I regularly get the same drink here.
