I’m a frequent visitor to this location due to its drive thru convenience during the morning commute. I drive by every weekday morning around 6-6:30 am and it’s usually such a pleasure, but the last few visits have been disappointing to say the least.
Today in particular, the woman taking care of drive thru was incredibly inattentive to customers. The car in front of me seemed to be waiting for someone’s attention after a problem with her order but nobody came and so she left after a while. I pulled up and got my order but wanted the drink remade because the latte looked dark and it tasted way too bitter. For 5 minutes the drive thru window was ignored after she scanned my phone for payment and didn’t give me a chance to speak to her.
When she finally comes back she looks dead and irritated that I’m still at the window and when I ask if she could fix the drink she says I’ll just give you a cup of milk instead of making a new drink or fixing the drink inside.
Because I’m so hands free while driving I was so delighted to receive a cup of milk to dilute my coffee instead of having it made correctly in the first place.
I don’t think I’ll continue my morning visits to this location if this is the new normal. The usually nice and pleasant employees for the morning shift haven’t been around lately and todays barista at the drive thru has completely turned me off from spending any more money here.
The drive thru here can be quick or excruciatingly slow. The lane for it is also super tight and there’s a huge pothole in the middle. You have to navigate carefully and watch your angles or you’ll get stuck or worse hit your car.
The parking spaces are too close to the drive thru path and make it difficult to park and leave if the drive thru line is long. The whole layout of this space is poorly designed and inefficient as a whole. Read moreWhile visiting Bk, NY, I wanted to grab a fall drink for myself and some classic frappuccino's for my family. I visited this particular location twice and the first time was okay, although we waited about 20 min in the lobby for our drinks. The first visit customer service was descent and our drinks weren't bad. The second visit, oh my! So ...this location appears to be really understaffed, and the few workers that are trying to hold it down, seemed overworked. I had a customed drink order and because they didn't know how to make the drink according to the recipe I gave them from tiktok, they instead wanted me to order something else similar and add whatever drizzle and crumble that I wanted. The two workers begin to talk smack about me and it was clear, all because of their misunderstanding, they blamed me...okay and! I paid 8.00 for that drink, so please make it how I asked. I just thought that was rude and I never once got an attitude or spoke condescending to them. The one man, whom I believe may be a manager ( he wears a rag/bandana on his head and bald) he was nice and would smile and update his customers on the status of their order every now and then- he actually can make really good strawberry creme Frappuccino! The location is convenient and the store appeared to be clean. Please hire more workers here and strive for employee and customer satisfaction.
Update 8/27/2025 Visited since August 2023, first review. It seems that they may have made some improvements at this location. This time, I went through the drive-thru and waited maybe 2/3 minutes at most and there were 2 cars in front of me, that was pretty impressive, since I waited nearly an hour last time in the lobby. Update-Nov 24: Went in this time as previously we had issues when my son ordered. Ordered my regular morning Honey Mint tea (medicine ball). Told the cashier my order—she asked what size & I stated “grande” she replied “venti”. I said “no, grande”. Paid and low and behold when I picked up it was a VENTI. Guess there’s no point in asking the CUSTOMER what they want if the cashier is choosing for you! Then when I corrected her as I’m picking up she states “oh apologies”. Moved on because it’s too early to be problematic and not actual satisfaction rendered. As I got to my car and tasted the drink, was hoping it made up for the mediocre service. Nope, just as terrible; she placed too much lemonade so it had this acidic taste and I couldn’t even taste the honey or mint to balance the drink out. I understand bad days but can we at least TRY to do better!
As for atmosphere, it was very dreary. And I understand it was a rainy morning. However, not as “bright” as most Starbucks I’ve visited. They have no chairs or tables if you wanted to take a seat whilst waiting for your order to be made. Or no standing bars to lean against.
