Sushi D is a neighborhood stalwart on the busy DeKalb retail stretch between Fort Greene and Clinton Hill. It's best for casual sushi cravings (rolls) and online orders. The dining room is a bit dark and there is outdoor seating on the patio. Finding a table has been very easy on my last two trips. Service is par, with orders taken promptly and the kitchen responding quickly, but water glasses may go unfilled if the servers are backed up with online orders.
What I've ordered: Avocado Cucumber Roll (good) Shrimp Tempura Roll (good) Pork Katsu Don (just okay) Nabeyaki Udon (took a long time but very tasty) Vegetable Tempura (broccoli, kabocha pumpkin, sweet potato, taro, lotus root) Chirashi sushi bowl (good)

I have zero complaints… Really wondering if the negative reviews are here to gatekeep this...
