Sweet Lily's Vegan Bakery — Restaurant in New York

I have traveled to get baked goods from this truck three times now. I was never super impressed, but this time just super lackluster.

The sweet treats the post on their Instagram unfortunately don’t live up to the hype. Everything looks way better and bigger online.

I tried the banana pudding, which turned out to be nothing more than whipped cream and some cake. They consider their pudding ‘custard’. This was not thick and creamy, nor was there any sight on pudding/custard. Just whipped cream and cake. For $6.50, that’s just not acceptable…especially since you only get half a pint. The pumpkin cinnamon bun was mediocre at best; the bun itself was hard and dry, and the frosting barely had any pumpkin flavor.

While the truck is cute and the girls working there are nice, it's definitely not worth the money or the travel. Pretty disappointed overall. I won’t we venturing out east...

I have always been looking for delicious baked goods that are fresh, like it came from my oven. I found it ! The cupcakes are a favorite, but then the marble pound cake was superb. I don't know: everything is amazing. While I expected to stick to the sweets, I tried the lasagna and was wowed. I have kosher friends who were thrilled to have a meatless lasagna that was sooooo good. Westchester is lucky and FGC ships. Great place . Looking forward to fall and upside down apple pecan pie! This is my holiday go...

I am so happy to have found Chrissy at For Goodness Cakes! I was looking for someone to make a vegan cake for my daughter’s graduation when I found her website. I emailed and she got right back to me. From there, the process couldn’t have been easier. Chrissy is very responsive to emails and a pleasure to work with. She make a beautiful, delicious cake which was enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike. I highly recommend Chrissy and look forward to ordering from her again...
