A colleague and myself came here for dinner earlier this week.

Service started out strong with a friendly greeting, quick drink order taken and recommendations provided. From there it dropped. The server forgot to ring in one of our food items, he also forgot to bring water which was requested midway through the meal. We got a strong whiff of marijuana midway through eating and my colleague was pretty sure the server was smoking at the bar (it was definitely coming from inside). Slow service the remainder of the meal.

Food was ok. Not horrible but I've had better. We had the guac and chips, tacos and mole. Guac tasted bland. Taco meat was a bit dry (carnitas). Portion sizes were good.

Both of us had margaritas and at least were able to get one round during happy hour. Mind you when we ordered a second we noticed the glasswear changed so while you think you're getting a happy hour deal, it's just a smaller sized drink.

Atmosphere wise, there were only a few tables. Music was so loud we could barely hear each other (part of their vibe I guess).

Watch out when paying as there is already a 15% service fee included. I usually tip 20% but based on lackluster service the 15 seemed even...

I came in here originally ordering take out, after about 30 minutes of waiting for my chicken tacos - I asked if I could have chips & salsa while I waited. Staff said that that is only for seat-in customers, so I obliged and chose to sit in since I only had 30 minutes of lunch left anyway. They said I can't change my mind even though the place was completely empty, and I had already paid. Mind you, I didn't even receive my food yet and they still took 10 more minutes to serve me my food. They also have a 4% service fee for using a credit/debit card so keep that in mind, as well.

So I guess the owner did not read the part where I waited an extra 10 minutes AFTER I asked to switch to dine-in. If it takes you 10 minutes to plate tacos in a to-go plate then you’re just wasting everyone’s time. And I made that 4% fee aware to ALL people BEFORE coming into your establishment.

I ordered an avocado salad & steak tacos through Uber eats. I received an avocado salad with no dressing. The “salad” was romaine lettuce! If you’re going to charge me so much, at least give me a REAL salad! Spring mix would’ve been better. I also received a taco shell full of lettuce topped with steak & slices of avocado. The meat for both was cold ! It was just ridiculous! To top it off I paid $2 extra for “fresh sour cream” to have with tacos I didn’t receive ! Uber refunded me for the Taco bowl & when I called the restaurant to let them know what happened, the manager told me there was nothing they could do about it because I ordered through Uber. I would have to deal with it through them. (He didn’t say it those exact words & honestly he wasn’t rude about it.)
