Tacos Al Suadero — Restaurant in New York

Ok. So this was only my second visit to this establishment, the first was about a month ago and today. On my first visit I had a few tacos, two chicken and one steak, very standard tacos and were very good. Today I had a few tostadas of carnitas "pork" aka pernil or for most fresh ham or pork butt. Full of flavor, but the carnitas, I'm accustomed to is juicy and tender, this one was a bit over cooked and crunchy. Some might like it like that, but not for me. That said, in there defense, they do have quite the menu and I won't let just one little bump on the road, deter me from returning and try what looks like a very flavorful menu. As for service, both times I've been there, I've only ever seen two girls working the floor and both seem to handle the crowd fairly well. Next time, I will take some pictures. Buen...

I used to come here often but I came in this time and the service was terrible. I was waiting for my order for more than 10 minutes. When I asked about my order the lady with black and red hair proceeded to tell me to give her a minute twice. She helped everyone who came after me but proceeded to ignore me as she walked past me continuously. She ignored me even though she asked the other lady if my order was ready to which she said yes and yet she refused to assist me. Was buying Pechuga de Pollo a la Plancha for a third time and then the waitress just wanted to raise the price out of nowhere, stating that Rice + Beans where ONE Side and could only be replaced for ONE Side (French Fries in my case) and wanted to charge me another $3 extra lol. Asked her to talk with a manager because I got it at $12 not $15 the couple days before, guy told her it was okay and then she wanted to negotiate with me "okay pero seran $2 extra, ok no? $1 extra okay?", I Just cancelled my order right away.
