I stopped by this place around 1:50 A.M (2 hours and 50 mins after their listed closing time) and decided to try one of their tandoori pizzas because Iâm a huge fan of pizza and indian food. We asked our server if the pizzas were actually prepared in a tandoor but he mentioned that theyâre just made in an air fryer (trying to be optimistic but my expectations were already down). The area was amazing; the tables, napkins, the bathroom, all the little details to get right in a restaurant, they got that down. Onto the food and drinks, I paid around $22 for a 10 inch shahi paneer pizza ($1.50 for tip) and my friend bought a mango lassi ($5) and a budweiser ($6.50!!!). The budweiser price already disappointed me. I understand getting a liquor license is hard and people have to raise prices to meet their expenses but 4 dollars over the avg price is insane! You can buy a 6 pack for $7.50. The mango lassi was below average too, wasnât sweet, didnât taste mango at all. Then the biggest let down was the pizza itself - I counted 7 toppings 8 toppings on the pizza and absolutely no flavor; no cheese, no sauce flavor, nothing at all. Felt as if I were eating filler food. Absolutely disappointed in this place.
I was reluctant to put this review up in the first place but considering theyâre new, Iâd hope theyâd take the criticism and do something about it. Very...

I think Tandoori Pizza makes a great Halal pizzeria option in Queens. While I donât think theyâre replacing the standard NY slice or the Brooklyn slice, I do think theyâre strides above your typical Dominoes or Pizza Hut. However the pricing is steep and on par with established higher quality pizzerias.
I had a large half tandoori chicken and half lamb kebab. Both great toppings for the pizza and complement the flavors well. The kebab was flavorful with a hint of spice and the chicken was moist and packed with flavors. I had a large plain cheese with extra cheese and that was good as well. The regular crust is thin enough matching other chainâs thinness. These pies donât have the thicker crust around the edges which was a bonus for me but may not be for everyone. I was informed the thin crust option is more crunchy like a cracker crust.
My order was take out but the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. The service was fast and polite.
Overall a better option than general chain pizzerias and would have been an easy 4 stars. However, with prices similar to higher quality traditional NY pizzerias, I have to give them a 3.5. Worth a visit for the exotic topics but not going to replace your local...
Read moreMade my way over to famous pizza Slope . Now, I have been here before and hence the reason I have returned is that makes absolutely the best New York slice in my opinion. is a true and nice guy. Although I had been there previously, I forgot that they are cash only and did not have any cash on me. I did not realize this till after I was handed my slices. I told Gio that I had to go to my car around the corner and get the money. And he insisted that I eat the pizza first while it was hot! It was spectacular as usual. Again, I stress this is New York style. I told him how I thought John's was terrible, at least what I got there was, and he said I'm far from the only one that says that! đ
As far as the pizza which is why we're all here. It was, as I said absolutely fantastic. The crust is unimaginably amazing. I don't know how he does it, but it's definitely special. Super crispy with zero flop. Great sauce and cheese for an overall amazing flavor! 9.2 for me. Never had a better...
