Besides the hotel being beautiful and comfortable, Kim at the front desk was phenomenal, she showed us the room when we were in Lake Placid back in March and helped us book on the spot when she gave us a tour of some rooms we were interested in. For our stay in June, she was amazing right from the beginning. With a warm welcome and attentiveness to what we were interested in and wanted, she helped us source restaurants, find activities and genuinely cared about our stay. Decent place, okish food. The waitresses here seem to have/had rough time in life. They're very defensive for no reason at all. Was there a few weeks ago, ordered a bucket with 6 beers whilst having a beer and conversation with my coworker the waitress poured my beer into the bucket. With no apology.
