The ice cream is amazing but the customer service from one specific employee was an extremely disheartening experience and one that I’ve seen on multiple occasions with him specifically. I was on a call with my friend and asked for two half pints of ice cream, due to my mask and possible other noise that was in the shop there’s a chance he misheard me and instead prepped two pints. When I clarified that I wanted half pints he was visibly upset which I initially understood the frustration and apologized if there was an inconvenience knowing that I requested a half pint of each. I placed the same order I always do for years and this is the I time it’s was wrong.
The upsetting part was the manner in which he spoke to me. He was raising his voice and calling me crazy to my face. I couldn’t believe that he behaved this way. After exchanging some words and customers trying to pacify the situation I felt it was best to leave and will never return.

Read moreThis place makes really good icecream in some very exotic Caribbean inspired flavors. They also sell delicious cheesecake. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was born and have lived in Brooklyn for over 37 years and for the longest time I would pass this place on the bus, either with my mom when I was younger or while walking to Brooklyn College, BUT I never went in! It took being out of work on injury for 2 months for me to go inside. I would pass the place while on the way to occupational therapy and decided to go in one day on a whim to drown/stuff my sorrows. After the first spoonful of the strawberry cheesecake, I wish I had gone in sooner. Anyway, I made a full recovery if you're wondering. Maybe it was the icecream? It would be nice if this place was setup like a traditional icecream parlor where you could eat in at a table or counter. It would probably improve their business, but since they've probably been at their present location for longer than I've been alive, I think it's safe to say they know what...
Read moreGonna be honest, probably the best ice cream I’ve had in NYC. Forget carvel, or any gelato places you know. This place has the best ice cream for the best prices, hands down. It’s not $8 for a tiny, two-scoop cup like most good ice cream places. It’s like $4 for half a pint. The guys in there are super professional, fast, efficient. My only complaint is their tubs. They sell large portions of their ice cream for events and such, which I thought was super perfect cause I wanted my family to try it. I bought two huge things of vanilla bean, brought it to the house and they were both freezer burnt to the touch. Super unfortunate, the ice cream has never disappointed. I guess it just comes with the territory. Buy a huge amount, it might be freezer burnt — Because I’ve never had the half pint or cone be freezer burnt. All in all I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a great ice cream spot without dropping...
