Teresa's Gourmet Italian Ices — Restaurant in New York

Once inside, I find myself tasting all the treats in this veritable abbondanza of pastries, cookies, cakes and, of course, Teresa’s special Italian Ices. I’m especially partial to the Lilly with Nuts. It a uniquely New York flavor that Teresa captures so well. Although I’m not from the neighborhood, it certainly worth the trip. During one visit, I was fortunately confronted by a warm tray of freshly baked miniature sfogliatella sitting in parchment paper. I can still relish the experience. Went in on a Sunday evening, about 6:30pm for a cup of coffee and sweet treat. They had no coffee filters, so I had to settle for a cappuccino which was like warm at best, forget about hot! The cocognol cookie my husband had was rock hard and old that he nearly spat it out. My linzer tart cookie was nothing special and tasted a little stale as well.
