I always order from this location, Steinway. Recently they’ve been very unhygienic, I found hair in 2 of my chicken fries. I called multiple times, no one picked up. They are very unprofessional and don’t maintain their orders properly. I ordered multiple times after that incident as my family always likes to eat their food at night as they’re open late. Tonight I ordered again through grubhub and when I ordered it showed in the photos that the pieces of the chicken were moderate and a mix but I got a one chicken small wing in the order and also utensils were missing even after mentioning so I called and they picked up, I shared my concerns and instantly I was brushed off and neglected, then I mentioned about the hair in my food and he said there is nothing he can do. He said to complaint I have to call the website or msg them. Which I also did but no one answered. Then he proceeded to say this is not his matter and whenever they’re busy they don’t receive calls and cut the phone on my face. His name is Abdullah, he said he was the manager. His behavior was disgusting and not for even once he apologized. Read moreEvery time we come to this place and get combos our drinks are leaking because they do not invest in good cup lids. There have been multiple times where I walked home with my drinks and one or both fell through the drink holders because they constantly leak under the lid. When I’ve ordered delivery, drivers have also complained about this issue.
I have moved from the area and it has been several months since I’ve visited the restaurant because of this recurring issue. Just passed by to pick up some food and thought the issue would’ve been resolved by now. It clearly hasn’t. The photo you all see here is what happened tonight when the drinks were sitting on my lap in the car. Both drinks soaked through the holder and I only managed to save one drink. The saved drink in the image was still LEAKING despite being on the counter. So before the restaurant claims I didn’t know how to put a lid on properly...again this happened more than 3 times to me regardless of me being in a car, walking or sitting it on a counter. It is all dripping down from the cheap and ineffective lids they are constantly buying from whichever supplier. The other drink (not pictured here) fell on the ground when the holder ripped. my complaint here is not with the food but it is with the person who manages this place. he usually covers work every day and is the one who takes orders, enters them and packs them for you..the afghan guy with the trimmed up beard
it has been a pattern with ONLY HIM over the past few years, that the orders are always missing items, on different days if you buy the same thing, he will ring you up using different entries on the register, prices will vary every time for the same thing!
food missing on every order he has taken, packaged and given me. now is this on purpose or what? are you trying to make some extra money by withholding items even though I am paying for it? but seriously you have never gotten 1 order right.. but yet you charge for the items that are not provided.
you order a meal, one of your side will be missing, you order 8 piece chicken, you will get 5-6… you ordered a can of soda? no, it would not be in your bag..
seriously, it’s getting really annoying and to top it off, if you get 50$ worth of food, and ask for sauce from him, he is happy to give you 2 pieces of sauce, c’mon...
