Titan Foods — Restaurant in New York

I moved to San Jose CA few years back, San Jose is the Capital of Silicon Valley. Please let me tell you a little story so you can understand me. After 50 years living in Brooklyn New York, having everything, Greek restaurants, Greek bakeries, Greek products easily obtained, generally getting a feeling I never left Athens, so many Greeks in Astoria back then, it was like you were in the middle of Omonia Square 24/7, that gave me the feeling I never left Greece, those were the years. Well, Titans was the first store I walked in and hungry to find that Greek taste I left behind me in Athens, I will visit Titans every week for 50 years to buy my feta cheese, my cheese pies, my baklava, and other things, I knew everyone in the store personally. Fifty years later, I decided to travel west and to move to San Jose CA, as they say, TRAVEL WEST, lol, My decision to come to northern California was a good move, California is a great state, beautiful weather, a great place to be, however, was not like New York, No Titans Foods and no Greek products, very difficult close to impossibility to get something original Greek taste unless you will travel 400 miles south to LA, I started feeling bad and lonely, no tsoureki, no feta cheese, no Greek pastries, my god, I was lost and sometimes desperate, I was missing that Greek taste and then it hits me, Titans maybe will ship to me what I need, and YES I called them. My god, they were so polite, so accommodating, Maria, Heleni, Nikos and others always did their best to give me the goodies I wanted to order, my life start been beautiful again, Thanks to Titans Foods, thanks to Maria, Heleni and Nikos, I GET WHAT I MISSED, Titans shipping ? perfect, comes on time every time, packed perfectly, taste? amazingly Greek, pure Greek products, Quality? perfect, fresh and well packed Thank you Titans, Thank you Maria, Thank you Heleni, Thank you Nikos for being in my life, you are a land mark to the Greek spirit, keep up...

First let me say I've been going to Titan for as long as I can remember and I'm in my 50's. When I was a child, my father would also go and pick up feta, olives and Greek goods for family members from PA. Titan Foods has always been a must stop for my family for many, many years. I recently visited on Monday, 7/26/21, and bought $400 worth of cheeses for myself and my family members. Among the items I purchased was over 10 pounds of "Arahova" feta cheese. I don't know what these folks sold me, but it wasn't Arahova. The cheese is absolutely disgusting and everyone I gave the cheese to could tell immediately it wasn't Arahova brand. It might be an honest mistake but I have my doubts, as I turned away and started shopping for olives and other products while they were packing my cheese order. Word to the wise: there's a reason why Greeks ask to taste a sliver of the cheese before they buy and I've done the same in the past but I trusted Titan to sell the feta brand they were advertising. I'll never buy another ounce of feta from a Greek distributor without doing the same and tasting it first. Me and my family have been loyal to Titan foods for many, many years and would never dream of going anywhere else in Astoria (or elsewhere). That loyalty is over. Shame on you...
