TLDR: mid. The execution of the food and drinks do not feel well thought out.
I think there a lot of improvements to be made with the quality of everything. Despite it looking very trendy and nice inside, the food/drinks do not live up to its interior. Waited about 30 min during brunch time and got the Orange Blossom Latte and the Kova Latte in the meantime.
OBL: Tastes like a watered down orange creamsicle. Wasn’t bad, but not as good as how it sounded. Kova Latte: was described as Espresso, Dark Chocolate, with matcha. Sounds good right? There was absolutely no taste of any of those 3 components.. very bland. Caramel Brûlée Latte: much stronger coffee taste. And sweet. Better of the 3.
French Toast with Fruits: I would’ve expected more than 1 strawberry sliced into multiple pieces. The plate itself looked so empty. They should’ve called it French Toast with one strawberry.
Eggs Benedict: pretty good. Hollandaise sauce was good. The green sauce that comes with the salad was the most notable thing we got. Salad itself was mainly lettuce strips and tomato… a nicer green like arugula would’ve been better. Black Truffle Burger: There was no sauce, no tomato, onion, like just burger and a bad brioche bun. Truffle Fries: whatever. Barely any truffle flavor. I don’t expect real shaved truffle but the price is steep for a flavor that was barely there. Kova Quesadilla: plain. No fixings either. The beef was good but it’s like they barely tried. Spinach & Cheese Omelette: nothing to write home about, but it was good.
When I complained about the Kova drink being bland and I ordered the creme brûlée they were nice to give it to me on the house....

Every detail, from the entrance to the bathrooms, is thoughtfully designed, creating a stunning and welcoming atmosphere.
The waitstaff is phenomenal—some of the kindest, most courteous, and attentive people I’ve ever encountered. Their warm and inviting service made my visit even more enjoyable. They truly deserve recognition for their exceptional hospitality!
And the food? Perfection. I had the truffle butter cheeseburger with truffle fries, the new lobster croissant with sea salt spicy fries, and the French toast with cheese eggs, along with a matcha strawberry iced latte—everything was a 10/10. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients.
This restaurant is a must-visit! Beautiful setting, incredible service, and absolutely delicious food. I can’t wait...
Read moreWe had a wonderful breakfast at The KOVA, with our kids this morning. The place is spotlessly clean and has an inviting, warm vibe. The staff was genuinely friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent across the board! The latte not only tasted great but came with beautiful latte art, which was a lovely touch (see photo). The omelet was perfectly cooked, and the side salad with fresh tomatoes and onions was a refreshing addition. We also enjoyed the pancakes and an iced coffee, both delicious and nicely presented. Another highlight was the menu’s reasonable prices, especially considering the quality and generous portions. It’s rare to get such good value in Brooklyn, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend The KOVA for anyone looking for great food, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and fair prices. We’re already looking forward to...
