Today, Sunday, April 13th I called this establishment to place a breakfast order at approximately 12:05 PM. I remained on hold until I walked into the restaurant. I hung up, placed my order, it was repeated to me by the cashier for accuracy and when I acknowledged that the order was right, she advised me that the cost was $72.95. I made the payment using my debit card, collected my order at 1230PM and when I arrived home I realized that I had only received the salt fish and the whiting was missing. I called back the store at 1 PM and advised them of the issue, they confirmed that they realized that the whiting had not been included after I left and the only resolution that was given to me was to come back and get it. I told them (Enricka, Jodie-Ann and Jonnie, all spoken to within multiple call back over 30 minutes, that was not a feasible option, so they either needed to deliver the whiting, or refund the monies for that. They provided the following options which were all to be at my expense for a problem created by the ineptitude of their personnel. a) Return to the store to pick up the whiting today or another day b) Return to the store to be refunded for the whiting c) Return to the store, to cancel the original order and then be charged for the new order without the whiting. I was placed on hold several times during this entire fiasco, the call was disconnected, so I was forced to call back just to wait for 8 minutes before someone else came to the phone to whom the entire situation had to be repeated. I was then glibly advised to come back another day, since the establishment will be closed by 3:45PM today. I do not reside in the state of NY. I reside in the state of South Carolina to which I am returning. I have emailed the establishment directly for them to rectify the matter. Some of the cashiers are disrespectful, disgruntled its almost as if your such a bother to them. It seems as even though your paying for your food that you cannot ask a ? You must just take your food and leave. They lack costomer service skills. Just Plain Nasty!! There is this particular server Abigail !! i came in to place my order and i complained about something!! She ensures that each time i come in she Sour and Nasty up her face not even a Smile how can i help you !! There was this particular day One of the men from the back had to tell her am standing there she pretend she didn't see me.She start ugliest behavior while taking my order i told her to get someone else to serve me.There is just so much to say !! Don't Just be sorry!! Fix the problem. People are entitled to complained its their rights!! No need for an aggressive behavior next time (I will remember you) We are all not perfect!! Be more understanding some people are going through life challenges they come to your establishment to just Get some food to satisfy there craving not to deal with your bad attitude and your scornful expression. Read moreI must first mention that I read the reviews prior to ordering via Uber Eats. Most, if not all the reviews mentioned the customer service as being great even if there was an issue or issues with the meal. My experience today is about the poor customer service I received when I called to report an item missing from my order..instead of getting an apology the girl who answered the phone...I will not list her name....processed to explain to me that the person came to pick up the order for delivery and the missing item was still being cooked, and I need to complain to Uber Eats, not the restaurant. There was absolutely no apology and my overall impression is to “just deal with it “.
Customer facing Employers have a duty to either ensure that employees have at a minimum, basic customer service skills or provide training. I am big on customer service and when I don’t get it I refuse to continue to do business with the establishment.
This was my first time ordering from this establishment and it will be the last.
