The Well Coffee — Restaurant in New York

Definitely my favorite coffee shop in town! It's an aesthetic cafe with a good vibe. I fell in love with their rose latte with real rose petals on top. The oat draft latte from the tap is perfect for summer with a smooth, silky texture.

All their sandwiches are delicious and come with a side salad or chips. Their in-house baked pastries (cranberries cookies, banana bread, Portuguese egg tarts) are a fantastic match to the coffee for tea time. I particularly enjoy the egg tarts when freshly out of the oven (I believe they are out daily at 11 am, a must-try).

They roll out new items from time to time: the mixed fruit toast and potato soup are so yummy too. I hope they will keep launching new things. Their offerings never disappoint me!

There is a playroom for kids on the opposite side of the cafe. So parents can stay inside to enjoy coffee while their kids play with toys without worrying the noise may interrupt other customers. What a thoughtful design!

The staff is friendly and professional. They go the extra mile to ensure you receive good quality service. They even deliver the food and drinks to the table for customers!

Oh, I have to mention the lady restroom is clean and spacious, never have to wait in...

love this cafe, especially for studying! the music isn't too loud and the ambiance is truly wonderful. it is clean and calm inside and is so well decorated! the staff are also very kind and bring you your food and drinks to your table, which is a really nice touch.

i've really enjoyed almost everything i have tried here, including the iced and hot coffee lattes, matchas, and various sandwiches and salads.

however, if i could give one suggestion for a specific drink - i recently tried the iced sweet potato latte and was taken aback by how much of the sweet potato powder was clumped up in the bottom of the drink. it was really unappetizing to get wet clumps of powder shooting up my straw throughout my entire drink, no matter how many times i would try to mix the drink to dissolve/break apart the clumps. if you could please work on this for future customers, that would be great.

still, i give this place 5/5 stars because one drink should not be the make-or-break factor, especially since this cafe and its people are...

Atmosphere is great. Service is great. Drinks are made with great skill. I did not enjoy my mocha.

Essentially tastes like an unsweetened hot chocolate meets espresso (aka: Dutch chocolate powder, milk, and espresso). Menu states that it's made with dark chocolate --apparently this is a completely unsweetened dark chocolate. Overall didn't meet my expectations. Mochas are generally sweet even if lightly sweet. Even google will tell you mochas are sweet. This was just lightly bitter.

The chocolate flavor isn't strong enough to differentiate it from a latte either. If you're going to change the drink taste, it should be communicated somewhere. Probably would have enjoyed it if I had ordered knowing it wouldn't have any sweetness. Or if it had more of a chocolate taste. Spent 30 minutes staring at my cup, wondering if it was actually a latte.

Service is good, they offered to remake it. I was already halfway through my drink so I declined.
