The place is doing a promotion for their Korean black bean sauce noodle. Advertised $ 5.99 with the big sign board (they have on a smaller letter on the side DINE IN ONLY, if take out 6.99), so be informed
When I went in to place my order at counter, I asked if order can be spicy, they put it in the system and it wasnât part of special.
Now they did change it and served the order quick. but this one lady with hair pulled back in a bun working at the cashier was mouthing me off in Koreanto her coworker saying âahhhh seriously???? frustrated gruntâ
I had ate here before, food was fine and was your typical delicious Korean style Chinese food. The portion is fair
But not being informed that making it spicy isnât part of the promotion and mouthing off your customer in front of their face is extremely rude and unprofessional.
It is regretful because Iâm a local and their food is pretty good. But if this is the service level to be expecting then I rather think twice before coming here againâŠ
Update 07.07 So I decided to give this place a try again despite my previous review (everyone deserves a second chance)
Unfortunately, this time they made it even harder for me and there was a man with hat and glasses this time; I came in and asked him for their black bean noodle special, and then he said âoh the special we only take cash only.â I told him I was able to pay with card last time, and he was giving me a bit of a hard time before he compromised and said â ok this time I accept your card, next time cash onlyâ Quite frankly, this left me quite dumbfounded⊠I have a lot to say but I rather not put here. The food here is great, but I fail to understand why make it difficult for people to pay and did not properly advise otherwise?
Needless to say, no changes...
Read moresuper disappointed in my experience here. i was excited to try a new place but was so shocked and angered at the poor service my sister and i experienced. on top of that, the bill was expensive for mediocre food. i will not be back here and will be sticking to my regular korean chinese restaurants.
i paid $70 plus tip for gan jajangmyeon, mapo tofu (used a weird frozen veg mix), tangsuyuk, and 2 cokes.
during our lunch, our waitresses did not check in on us, though they checked in on the 2 tables next us several times. i had to flag waitresses down multiple times to ask for basic things â place my food order, ask for more banchan, order drinks. i also waited a long time for my gan jajangmyeon after all the other food came out and was told condescendingly it wasnât ready and would be out when it was. not even 5 seconds later, the waitress walked out with it. which meant it was waiting to be picked up and i would not have gotten my food had i not reminded her. a simple âmy apologies for the delay let me go check on itâ would have sufficed but i was instead gaslit and made to feel like i was in the wrong to check on the whereabouts of my food.
i tried to give the waitresses the benefit of doubt thinking âmaybe itâs just busy in the restaurantâand tipped them well. i understand how overwhelming the service industry can be. however, as i left i saw there werenât many parties in the restaurant and therefore no reason for the poor service.
đđŒđđŒđđŒđđŒđđŒ i regret eating here, spending money here, and tipping their poor service.
(thereâs also a promo for a free drink if you leave a review so i donât trust any of the other reviews here.)

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying the Jjampong at Hana, and it was an unforgettable experience. The soup arrived at the table steaming hot, with an enticing aroma that immediately awakened my senses. The broth was a bold and spicy delight, packed with deep flavors that perfectly balanced heat with a savory seafood essence.
The portion was more than generous, with an abundance of fresh ingredients. The seafood was plentiful and cooked to perfection, with tender calamari, juicy shrimp, and succulent mussels. The vegetables, including bok choy and onions, were crisp and added a refreshing crunch that contrasted nicely with the soft noodles.
What really stood out was the texture and consistency of the brothâit had just the right thickness, enveloping the noodles and seafood in a way that made every bite satisfying. The spice level was intense, but not overwhelming, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy a bit of heat in their meal.
The presentation was also top-notch, with vibrant colors from the red broth, green vegetables, and various seafood, making it as visually appealing as it was delicious. The service at Hana was excellent, with the staff being attentive and eager to ensure that my experience was enjoyable.
Overall, the Jjampong at Hana is a must-try for anyone who loves bold, spicy flavors and fresh seafood. It's a hearty and satisfying dish that I would highly recommend to both regulars and first-time visitors alike.
This should be perfect for sharing your...
