Overall, I loved the food--and the atmosphere was fun on a Saturday evening. The interior design is hip and lovely. Their covid outdoor seating was well-designed as well. We were reminded of our Barcelona trip with White Sangria and the Tapas.
We tried Pulpo Y Pimenton, Suquet, Gambas Al Ajillo, Pinchos and Albondigas De Mi Mama.
The Gambas was creamy garlic sauce--so slightly different from the oil sauce I am used to. It tasted like rosé pasta without the pasta.
Pulpo Y Pimenton was very good but slightly "skinny" in portion for the price.
Albondigas was really tasty--especially the sauce. We dipped our bread in the sauce long after the meatballs were eaten.
Suquet was good. All the seafood soaked up the sauce well. The mussels could be slightly bigger but that's just my minor comment.
The Pinchos was disappointing. It was literally just all beef, all chicken, 3 shrimps in skewers. It was too dry and lacked flavor. The dipping sauce didn't provide any additional flavors. It would be nice to perhaps add a vegetable (grilled pepper or tomato?) to break up the flavor.
There was not enough space on our tiny square table for everything. I would also advise to provide a discard container for all the seafood shells. They provided serving spoons for all the tapas dishes but no dinner spoons for us to eat the soups and sauces.
The final feedback is regarding the 4% surcharge on all credit card transactions. I understand the times and the possible need for it on the business side but considering the prices of each dish, I didn't particularly appreciate being charged another 4% to use my credit card. But, again, the business survived Covid so I will not complain too much about this.
The owner/manager and our server Danielle were very nice and accommodating. The overall experience was really pleasant and I will definitely go back to try all the other dishes and desserts!...
Read moreRecently took my family for dinner to this location. We were three individuals and were looking forward to experiencing a nice evening out.
The venue is clean and the decor very pleasant to the eyes. However, at a certain time during the later afternoon/early evening, the lights were significantly dimmed making it a bit difficult to see what one was actually eating. Not sure if this is a cost cutting measure.
The food from start to finish was generally very good. However, the Caldo Gallego was rather bland, but then, this isn't a restaurant with focus on Spanish cuisine. But I expected a little more taste. The main dishes were excellent - churrasco and filet mignon. They were seasoned just right and fresh!!! The desserts were also nicely made. Seems like any choice of dessert is a good choice.
But, and this a huge but, and be forewarned. The wait time is excessive. We were a party of three and it took us more than 2 1/2 to complete our dinner. The drinks took about 20+ minutes to arrive. The appetizers took more than half an hour to arrive. The entrees took almost an hour to arrive. And the desserts took about half an hour to arrive.
I inquired from our waitress regarding the wait time for the food and she replied that the kitchen is limited in size and that perhaps the wait time is not what we were accustomed to. It appears that the restaurant expanded its interior but expansion of the kitchen did not take place.
A very nice restaurant with mostly very good cuisine. However, don't arrive too hungry or...

Been to Tin Marin several times. The ambiance is on point. Nice date night, intimate setting, lighting is very DARK. Food and drinks are ok.
On my last visit (8.4.2024) I told my server I was allergic to shellfish please let the kitchen know not to cook my food with the shrimp. Made it very clear, and she said she understood.
I ordered the mofonguitos with chicken. What I got mofongo with SHRIMP. When it was placed in front of me I thought my plate smelled weird so I stab the meat with my fork, felt weird. I asked my son to try it. He said, “Get that plate away from you that’s SHRIMP!” We looked at the plate closer with the flashlight of his phone and saw the bigger pieces of shrimp with the lines in them.
All I could think about was my life, what could’ve happened if I ingested it, and thank God for saving my life.
I asked them to take it off the tab and I was done. Paid & took my son’s order (grilled chicken with yucca purée) to go.
A time before this a waiter explained to me Yucca without me asking. I am from PR where Yucca is native to the land and our cuisine. I was slightly offended due to the fact Latinos come in all shades and him also being fair-skinned should know.
The food is ok nothing exciting but the ambiance is nice and sometimes...
