I ordered from this place through grubhub. I ordered a shrimp alfredo around 2:30pm for lunch. it said the wait was about 35-40 mins, my location is less than 20 mins away. I waited about 45 mins and clocked out for my lunch thinking it was arrive soon. I am 5 months pregnant and patiently waiting for the arrival of my order. The driver call three times saying he would be there in 15-20 mins. I contacted Tosca and the women over the phone said the same. the driver arrived just as my lunch hour was over. it took them a total of 1 hour and 45 mins to arrive with my order. pregnant and starving, I open my order and its chicken and has a horrible smell and taste to it. I called Tosca again and they said they can give me back my $3 which is the difference of chicken vs shrimp. I don't want $3 I want the meal I ordered. she then put me on the phone with someone else who said they didn't have another driver coming until 5 o"clock to replace my order. I asked if it would be another hour, he couldn't give me a straight answer. I explained that I was pregnant and didn't want my money back, just my food. I was going to leave my job at 5:30pm, how could it take soo long and be the wrong order. finally at exactly 5:30pm they arrive with my order. I spent the entire afternoon without eating. I grab the food and brought it home, when I finally opened the order I was glad to see it was exactly correct, but there was a strange smell... I thought it was just my pregnancy nose but my mother smelled it as well... I tasted the pasta and the sauce tasted spoiled or rotten. it was the most disgusting thing ive ever tried. I couldn't believe they would send something rotten to me after I waiting hours for food and told them I was pregnant. I contacted grubhub and they told me Tosca wouldn't approve a refund and that disgusting food. they kept assuring me something like this wouldn't happen again and Grubhub apologized. I will never get back my times wasted or money lost. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone! ever! they customer service is horrible and they don't care about the quality of your food unless your renting out their restaurant, basically only making them more money. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. next day my stomach is hurting me.. worst choice I've made was ordering anything from this location. I would of had the balls to bring them their rotten food and see if they wont give me my money back but im a tired pregnant working mother and rather let friends and family know this...
Read moreWent to this rooftop restaurant and bar. We came early enough that the bartender, Kimberly, was also our server. Kimberly was great, the kitchen... not so much. We ordered a pizza to share and we explicitly said no bell peppers, we got two types of bell peppers. Then the kitchen didn't know how to rush the replacement so we ended up sitting there for over 20 minutes during which time Kimberly apologized several times for the wait. Worse, the manager was within earshot of several of these interactions but ignored the situation entirely. The coal fired pizza here is okay, but the crust is VERY crunchy. The drinks and appetizers were...
Read moreI went here Easter Sunday and it was the worst! On a day as busy as Easter Sunday. You need to be ready for the crowd and they were clearly not. Food stations empty and a mess of the buffet areas. I had to bring up my own empty plates because no one clearing the plates. In addition they added a 18% gratuity to the bill and that should not be done for a party of 4. I told them to remove it as I would definitely not be giving such a large tip when I had to ask for refills and clear my own plates. We need something really better in the Bronx not much spots, so everyone continues to flock to this...
