Went in last night craving a smoothie….
When I got in I was hit by a flood of a feeling of relaxation and peace which is very hard to find in this pocket of Brooklyn so far from the truly gentrified Williamsburg/bushwick
After being greeted by the counter Girl and feeling even more welcomed and relaxed by her inviting warm and very patient energy. I was able to put in an order for a smoothie that was not only a hit but literally helped put me in the ready to relax mindstate I needed after a busy stressful day or working.
I stayed for almost a hour more because the vibes here were so impeccable.
No coffee shop in the area has the service/the friendlyness and the skill to do what they do….
And anyone that is even comparable to them tends to be either missing one crucial thing or their prices justify the service.
Here you get fair prices. In a relaxed calm environment that you can really take some time to sit down and not only take in the beautiful Flatbush scenery but just feel like you’re honestly transported to another dimension once you step in.
Right now I just woke up and I’m trying to get the sleep out my eye. So I can rush over and try their delicious breakfast menu. The food is just diffrent here that’s all I can say the chef KNOWS what he’s doing.
Brooklyn gotta come out support. We need more locations when I’m in the city I need a we are Manhattan...

We Are Brooklyn is a great little coffee shop with a relaxed and friendly vibe. The staff are very attentive, polite, and welcoming. The coffee is good, and there’s plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. I really liked the outdoor setup—shaded by umbrellas, perfect for sunny days.
Inside, it’s quiet enough to work, with a nice layout and a calm atmosphere.
I had the Brooklyn Breakfast Platter: duck eggs, roasted potatoes and veggies, gruyere cheese, thick-cut bacon, and bread on the side. Everything was really tasty and well-cooked. The potatoes had just the right amount of spice, the bacon was perfect, and the duck eggs—my first time trying them—were cooked sunny side up and turned out great. The bread was good too, though just a little bit stale. I do wish there had been a bit more gruyere—it added great flavor, but there wasn’t much of it.
One thing I really appreciated: they use real plates and silverware, not paper and plastic like so many other places. It makes the experience feel a bit more thoughtful and intentional.
Food came out slowly, so it’s not the best place if you’re in a hurry. But if you’ve got time to relax, it’s definitely worth it. I’ll be back for sure and will recommend...
Read moreWhen commuting I’ve always seen this place and wanted to try it. Today was the day. The inside was bright but cozy. It was very clean inside and there was a playlist playing lightly in the background. There is also an outdoor section.
I was greeted kindly by the woman at the register. She was very nice and knowledgeable when ordering. I ordered an Iced Dulce De Leche Latte and a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese (Swiss). I’m normally a pepper jack girl, but they didn’t have it in stock.
The Dulce De Leche latte was very sweet at first, but once stirred, it was way better. The bacon, egg, and cheese were pretty good. The roll was a bit dry and a little flaky. I didn’t put any condiments on it, which I feel like would’ve set it off. They also sell juices, smoothies, and breakfast / lunch food !
The total was $10.44
I was comfortable in here and sat inside and had some alone time. I can see this place as somewhere to be productive as well. Just keep in mind there aren’t any outlets, so if you come to work, remember to come charged.
I would see myself coming back if in the area. Thank you...
