Webster Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in New York

I recently had an unpleasant experience during my delivery commute for my company. Upon placing my order, the counter staff repeatedly asked me to repeat my order, which I found quite frustrating. I kindly requested that they focus on preparing my food rather than engaging in unnecessary conversation.

Unfortunately, they did not have roasted peppers available and insisted that I purchase a jar for $10.99, which I considered unreasonable. As I approached the register to pay, the cashier asked for my phone number, seemingly instigating the issue with his colleague. When I requested to speak with a manager, he claimed to be the owner and proceeded to blame me for the situation.

I intend to contact both health and consumer affairs departments to report the harassment I experienced and take necessary measures to address this issue.
