This place is a bit off the beaten path of Fort Hamilton and 8th Ave, and is on the less-lit side of the N train tracks. The venue itself is particularly built out for small parties, each with comfortable and separated rooms that come with temp control and karaoke. It is a good place to have a large group of people come to eat, similar to a jiu lou. The weak spot is that I didn't see any place for individual diners to come by for a meal alone, so this is definitely geared towards gathering events. The food is decent and they can make things that other jiu lou have, but also with some options that you might not find in a jiu lou, like Szechuan cooking and sizzling iron plates. Many items are marked SP, so be sure to ask about those. I highly recommend the morel soup. They also serve proper roasted peanuts for a starter and those are delicious. Decor is similar to the new style of private dining rooms now in China, where you have the bathroom included in your room so that you no longer need to leave your room. Wall tiling was nice and unusual. As such, it is a bit more convenient than competing with other people for bathrooms in a usual jiu lou. The enclosed rooms are also well insulated from outside noise and the staff come regularly to change your plates and refill tea. I was a bit sad but not surprised that this place seems to be a bit lacking in business, since their location is a bit off the usual place, but I'd still say to give them a shot the next time you are looking to hold an...
