Y & P Deli — Restaurant in New York

Leaving no stars wouldn't be enough to express how awful this place is. I went in and bought a few items that totaled a little over 5. I paid with a $20 so I should have received around $15 in change. The cashier only gave me back $5 and refused to give me the rest. I was not angry at first because I'm aware mistakes happen but the cashier then accused me of lying in order to rob them of money. I got it back after a lot of back and forth but I felt disrespected. This place used to be better before the change...

The two star is based up on inaccurate info on google maps. I didn’t manage to buy anything here yet. I drove to the store at 9:10pm trying to order some food but the girl at the counter said kitchen was closed. Is a pity that they closed way too early for been a nyc establishment. They are pretty well located and if they don’t stick to their business hours they’ll go out of business pretty soon. I’ll be giving them a call to order some food and I’ll update this review...

They make the best beef soup (sopa de res blanca le llaman) I’ve tried in many years! Not the red one with all that hot sauce in it, but the light broth one. So far the best! I’ve been looking for a restaurant where they make it for a long, long time and finally found it here at Eliam’s Deli. I’ve found it in a couple of places before, but I’ve been disappointed.
