Marrakech Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

Had a dinner while traveling in NYC in January, 2020. Best experience ever among Uzbek restaurants in the US. Remembered my city, Tashkent. I give 10 out of 10 for Tashkent plov, which is made and taste the same way as it does at "Plov Center" in Tashkent. Bread made in tandoori, "Lepeshki", reminded me my mom who used to ask me to go to buy "Lepeshki" early in the morning. Kebabs are very juicy and tasty, like Uzbeks love it. They tried really hard to give their guests home atmosphere. Unfortunately, they were out of "somsa" (samosa). They sold them out earlier, and we came late around 7 pm. But I've read a lot of positive reviews about their somsa made in tandoori. Anyways, we'll come back to try somsa next...

Absolutely outstanding! The food was so delicious, very authentic, everything we had was good. I want to try it all, I wish I lived closer. The employees were so friendly and you could tell they loved their job. The owner was personal and engaging. Thank you for making our dinner an awesome experience. This place is always exceptional! We did a banquet on Christmas. They told us it would cost us 80$ with tip. However, when we finished they increased the price and told us it will be 90$ with the tip.
