The only reason I gave this restaurant a 4 star is bc I felt the wait staff was lacking.
At first or waitress was wonderful. She was patient as we asked about the menu (1st timmers) and she was friendly. However, shortly after we ordered our meal our waitress was no where in site. Tables that sat down well after us was given beverages and table condiments. Some were even given their food and/or side items.
We weren't given our full order (side order of eggs) and the table wanted refills on their drinks. I had to flag another waiter down but to be honest he was quite dismissive. (He smiled and walked away from me)
I chalked it up to "hey we are not his table" but our waitress never showed back up and that same guy was the only person working tables.-
The tables surrounding us were all attended to and had been asked how their food was. We on the other hand were never asked.
When I asked for the bill another gentleman came and said "you guys look familiar. I've helped you before." We explained that it was our first time at the restaurant.
Suprisingly once we paid and tipped our waitress reappeared at our table. She thanked us for coming and asked how our meal was. 1 person in my party asked her where she had went and her reply was "I was in the office" 😏🤔
This lead people in my party to speculate that's why our wait service was subpar. They might have mistook us for other guest and maybe it wasn't a pleasant experience (idk)
But as a whole the staff seemed friendly -even though our wait service was lacking-
But listen... we spent $242 plus we gave a generous tip
The food was quite "Tasty"
1 person in our group thought the food was alittle salty but it was not unanimous.
The garlic noodles were garlicky and perfectly cooked The shrimp, clams, mussels, king crab, nicely cooked The Cajun sauce and the Garlic Butter Cajun sauce "chefs kiss (delicious)" The sides: Rice, sausage, corn were all cooked well. The chicken and fries: Chicken was well cooked and seasoned. Fries were fried and salted well. And even though they weren't on top of the free refills, it was a nice bonus that they had "free refills"
The restaurant ambiance/decor was fitting for a seafood spot. Trust the food pictures on on site because that's exactly how your food will look.
Overall: If not for the spotty wait service, this place would've been given a 5 Star Rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read moreFood was really good and priced affordably but you do plan to reserve the table through yelp, DO NOT leave the restaurant during your wait. Their waiting queue on yelp is totally incorrect. I was told that I was 8th, then 6th, then 4th in line, so I went to the store next door to sit while waiting (it was really crowded in the restaurant so I didnt want to sit there). After a whole hour of waiting, I came back to the restaurant to ask the manager (keep in mind that we were checking our place in the queue continously but never got moved up), they said that they already called my name and I wasnt there so they kicked me off the waitlist. If so, the waitlist on yelp is literally meaningless if the restaurant does not honor or update their status on Yelp despite opening the...
Read moreThe food was all very, very good: mussels, gumbo, sandwiches (like Po'boys) with fried shrimp or similar, burritos, and various fried things (catfish and oyseters and shrimp). Everything was fresh and freshly cooked. We dined in with a party of 6. The service was almost comically bad, with pleasant servers who did not even bring paper plates or plastic knives and forks until asked several times. The mussels were brought in a big plastic bag with no bowl or plate, and the various dishes came out over a more than 20-minute period at a time when there were only a 2 or 3 small parties at other tables. If you don't mind cheerful but terrible service, this place has excellent food at a reasonable price. I owuld recommend take-out, but fried food is not great...
