This park is very near to the place where I stay and today I was there for the first time. It's a beautiful park specially made for the kids. There are two sections within this park - one is for the "Tiny Tots" below 7 years and the other one is for the elder kids. Extra safety measurements are taken in the Tiny Tots' park. There are different toys where kids can play with. In the elder kids' park, there are few adventurous items where kids really go wild. The total area is more than 6 acres and is full of week maintained lawn, tall trees, benches and pathways. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Point to mention : there is a facility for drinking water too - a fountain. You can pack your breakfast, put your kids in the car, invite your spouse too and spend lots of time - healthy family time - at this park. Have a nice time with your family...

🛝Two playgrounds for different ages with slides, swings and two unique features 🧗🐛

🐛The ‘caterpillar’, a sprawling colorful concrete structure was the highlight for my kids. Inviting kids to climb with ease despite not towering high.

🧗Endless fun for pretend play on those rock structures with a caves.

🌳 A spread out grassy field with slopes, picnic tables aplenty, and a meandering walking loop – perfect for scootering or strolls while the kids play.

🐾 Newbark Dog park, a dog park complete with ramps and tunnels, 🎾 Tennis and 🏀basketball court made sure there was something for everyone.

👍Not the newest, but definitely a well-maintained park for family fun.

Visited this park on Saturday,Sunday and Monday in succession ( April end 2018). On weekends lots of parties and games and sports activities goes on, especially during daytime. Monday late afternoon was quiet. Overall park is quite well kept. Lots of trees/plants are growing, but none is labelled/named. Being nature enthusiast and botanist, I would appreciate if this is done . It will be informative and educative, both. Posting one image of Maiden hair tree growing in park and another of party time ( which are already...

Newbark Dog Park in Newark. 😊 What other clever dog park names are there out there? This Newark Community park is pretty nice with lots of play areas, handball & tennis courts, great big fields of green for baseball, soccer, football or whatever…. Yet, the dog park caught my attention. #dogpark #newarkca #clever #uselessfacts

This is a park I grew up by and it's still just as much fun now that I have my own children to take them here as they have a great playground w/ swings, slides and even hiding spots built into rocks. Great for hide & seek. For the adults there are basketball hoops, a wall to practice tennis, volleyball, ect. There are a set of tennis courts as well. Lots of grass to play soccer or to just have and have a picnic. If you're lucky you just may get invited to one of the big fiestas. Ppl are very friendly.
