Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Newark

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience this day. This was my first time going to this location and my chicken was not cooked completely. It had blood coming from it, my biscuit was hard and dry, my Mac n cheese tasted watered down. The workers acted as though they really did not want to be there because asking them questions they looked at me like I was bothering him instead of just answering my questions. I was asking prices because I did not have my glasses on and one of the workers pointed to the board and I told him I could not see it. So he walked away and the lady that was working there was of no help either because she was too busy to help. The cashier was not that friendly. He didn't speak he just said what is your order. This location was not really kept up it was dirty on the floors and the tables. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place and I don't have a desire to go back. I say go at your own risk. When my 11 year old nephew says, "Wow! It tastes so fresh!" as he inhaled his spicy piece of chicken, I have to wonder"Out of the mouths of babes..." What in the heck would he know about deep fried fresh food? Just before he made that statement, I myself was thinking what is so different about this meat? Nephew hit the nail on the head. I'm almost afraid to share how good it is there, because it is always crowded. If you go when there's only one or two people behind you, when you turn around, there will be 50 million people standing behind you. As you wait for your order, you'll feel like you brought the crowd in after you. Never fails. They forgot my 8 year old niece's biscuits but that's ok. We got everything...

The worst Popeyes ever. I came in at 7:20pm. They took my order at 7:32pm. I ordered the $10 bigger box. I am still waiting for my order, and it's 8pm. The customer service is non existent. One worker, instead of helping customers on the long line is taking out the trash. I have been told that I am now waiting on the apple pies. I have finally received my apple pies, but after waiting all this time, I received the wrong side. Which is inexplicable because the sides are printed on the ticket. No one apologized once to me, or offered something as compensation for the extremely long wait. They just went on as if this is how we as customers should be treated. You will not get my money ever again. Shame on...
