Bangkok Noi Thai — Restaurant in Newberg

Authentic, full flavored, from scratch Thai food from a food cart in Newberg is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Their potstickers are homemade, and you can tell the difference - they just melt in your mouth. I would not hesitate to order anything on their menu. Prices are good for the quality and portions enough for a good sized meal. Rice is wonderful...fragrant and soft. (So many places mess up something as "simple" as rice, but as we know, bad rice ruins a dish where great rice can make it.). Cook is working fast, and making fresh stir fries and curries right there in the little kitchen. My only complaint is a side of peanut sauce is 2 dollars, and is a tiny 3 oz serving. They seem to never be open!!! Every time I go there, they are closed. And their Google info is false. 2/20 times I’ve been able to get food there. Instead, I usually get food from the Mexican place. They have great service at LA GRAN VICTORIA

Would be a sold 4.5 to 5 EXCEPT, I asked if they had Thom Yum soup, my favorite, cuz it wasn't on menu. They said yes so I ordered it. If it was even in the ballpark of being decent I would have been happy. However, it was absent lemongrass and ginger (the two main ingredients) and no joke tasted like hot water with a ramen seasoning packet and tough chicken.
