Domaine Lumineux Tasting Room — Attraction in Newberg

I love the vineyard property so much that I actually vowed to wait for its reopening vs. visiting the Newberg tasting room. The vineyard's energy & scenery really is that magical. But a couple weekends ago my cousin invited me to the Newberg house tasting room. Cute historic house on the outside, GLAMOROUS on the inside! From the moment we arrived (parked) Jack opened the door for us, & had wine in our hands before we even walked through the door! My cousin was soooo excited he couldn't contain his laugh! I wish I had my camera out to film it...because it was a royal welcome!!! Magical, truly! I've visited a lot of wineries, Michelin Star restaurants, 5 star hotels, but I've never been greeted like that! With Jack's wine knowledge and Dawn's ability to elevate a wine lover's experience, this team will keep many of us loyal to these delicious wines coming back, and following them no matter where the tasting room is. Above & beyond is the best way to put it. With a wide range of wines that can please young or mature palates and preferences, Dom. Lumineux can't be kept Oregon's secret anymore. Dawn, thanks for letting us taste outside the menu; you made sure I found my summer go-to Chardonnay for all my favorite grilled seafoods! On that note, thank you for the important food pairings. 03/17/19: 4.50 out of 5 - Domaine de Broglie (pronounced Domaine-de-Broy), formerly known as Vista Hills, was purchased by the Coppola Family. I was able to visit the Coppola Winery in Geyserville, California, which is why it will be exciting to see what Coppola does with the former Vista Hills Winery.

The winery has gone through a facelift, but there is still much to be done. However, the building and the winery itself is quite warm and welcoming.

Domaine de Broglie has wonderful Pinot Noirs. The estate is expansive with wonderful and spacious features and outside seating with great views of the Willamette Valley.

The staff are nice, accommodating, knowledgeable and quite welcoming. Enjoyed the non-intrusiveness, as well.

Definitely a great winery with so much more potential. I look forward to see how Domaine de Broglie goes through it's evolution. I highly suggest to try this winery once for all its wonderful wines and to decide for...

I just recently got married at this venue, all I can say is our experience was magical. If you’re looking for a high quality, BEAUTIFUL and intimate wedding - this is the spot. Katie, the coordinator, did an amazing job coordinating this wedding. From the start to finish. She created a timeline, worked with catering, supplied some decorations and set up and packed the decorations and she even packed our getaway car with our stuff. She keeps such a positive attitude the whole event, it really felt like she was a part of the wedding and not just a venue employee.
