ByeBye Sushi — Restaurant in Newcastle

Needs customer service - my wife and I placed an order for pickup. They do not have a chime or anyway to alert the staff that you entered. So we waited in the entrance before having to go find a staff member. Never greeted - never interacted with - told them we were there to pickup an order. Young kid turned around and started talking to the person making the rolls. Wait wasn’t too long. Another guest entered the restaurant and also waited and was not greeted the entire time we were there. The food was not bad but thrown together in the to go boxes. The outside sign is being held up with an insane amount of duct tape. Excited to have a sushi restaurant in Newcastle. Just do better on customer service and details. I ordered Smoke on the Water. It was savory and had a nice smokiness. My wife ordered the Ring of Fire. After one bite, her nose started running and she started to pray. After two bites, she began to worry about the pain of it coming out. After her 3rd bite, she began to hallucinate and was getting lightheaded. She likened it to licking the dark one's dark side. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Thursday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. We tried the Storm roll and the Chuxui roll, loved them both.
