It makes me feel kind of bad to say it but the food and the service were absolutely terrible! When we arrived we were immediately seated and there was only one other couple at a table we waited for about five minutes for a waitress to come over and take our drink order and we ordered an appetizer of the breaded ravioli and then another 10 minutes, no drink ever arrived until I got my waitresses attention and asked her to bring them. About 10 minutes later we received our appetizer but no plates at which time I asked for them and she walked around to another table and took their order so we sat for at least another 5 to 7 minutes with no plates to eat or appetizers on. We got her attention again and asked for the plates and she finally brought them back immediately and the ravioli were overcooked and flavorless and the marinara sauce had a strange off putting taste and texture to it that smelled and looked a lot like canned dog food.
I ordered the Alfredo tortellini and as you can see I received pale flavorless alfredo sauce the only spices are the three packets of pepper that I received from the waitress to try to season the Alfredo with. To be honest the best thing they had were the breadsticks. I would like to say the salad was pretty good but the ranch dressing was way too watery and pretty flavorless as well.
I came to visit a friend and she took me and my mother here and I cannot express how disappointed we were. We did have some nice man walk by and ask how the meal was and we kindly just said everything was okay because there was so many people in there at the time that we didn't want to make a scene.
As we were leaving you could look around the room and see how many people were sitting there still waiting on orders with their arms crossed and looking upset. Apparently they had a large catering order go out right before but to be honest that should be no excuse for lack of flavor or service. The waitress we had was not very friendly and seemed completely lost the entire time not to mention completely forgetful and mixed up our drinks which was a Sprite with lemon and a sweet tea I ended up with tea in my Sprite somehow....
Read moreWe were recommended here, so we gave it a shot. The atmosphere was Country Italian. The music was blaring loud (and I usually like it louder, but the waitress couldn’t hear us well either. They have the bistro lights and a full bar. Staff was friendly. We had a party of six and were seated immediately.
When we ordered drinks, I asked if drinks were included with the kid meals, and the waitress said yes. When we we received the bread, we received five breadsticks vs. six (the number of people in our party); they were a frozen (heat up and serve) type and we weren’t served any individual plates, so the kids just made a mess out of the olive oil mix. Our kids tried to order the pizza / calzone they were wanting and the restaurant ran out of dough. The pizza is a third of their house menu... smh
The dinner portions were ok, but so was the food... just ok / meh. The chicken alfredo tasted like it was a Ragú sauce heated up. The french fries were also a frozen type. The spaghetti was ok, but seemed more like a Ragú / Prego vs. their own house marinara.
When we received the check, it was a little higher than I was thinking and realized we were charged for the kids’ drinks. Upon asking the waitress about the charges when she said they were included, she said what she meant to say was the kids cups included a lid, but that they were adult-sized. You mean to tell me you are charging $7.24 for a kids meal with a very small portion of food (what a kids meal should be) and a drink?!?
I’m very disappointed in the way that the last part was handled and probably won’t be back due to that and the quality of...
Read moreI’ve been on an Italian food kick lately and I always like to try new places so I took my beautiful woman to Luigi ‘s. It has a modern farmhouse look to the outside, but that is where the appeal ends. The food was not good. I ordered the sampler; spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna, and chicken Alfredo. For the $21.00, I was amazed at how small the portion size was. The Alfredo was the best of the three, but the Alfredo was only average. Besides being served cold, the lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs had very little flavor. It certainly wasn’t $21.00 worth of quality nor quantity. My beautiful lady and I shared that and a side salad that came in the tiniest of bowels. With 2 waters and $20% tip, we walked out paying $35.00, for a sampler plate we didn’t even finish because it was so bland, and a tiny salad. We didn’t get a to-go box. We just went home and snacked on popcorn, because we were still hungry. I’ll gladly pay for good food. There is value in tasty meals. But I couldn’t justify spending $35.00 at this place. I hate feeling like I’ve been duped or taken advantage of. That’s how I felt leaving this place. My advice: Don’t bother with this place. There are plenty of good Italian places around town but this isn’t one of them. I don’t bet for money but I like a good bet for pride. I bet this place won’t be in business in...
