Terrible. My husband placed an online order -two iced coffees for us, and a decaf coffee and plain bagel for my grandmother (who has medical issues and can only eat plain things). We get there, and they don't have plain bagels. After turning down a different type of bagel (because, like I said, my grandmother can only eat plain) the girl originally said "we'll refund you" then goes "Wait, wait! We can't do that. Do you want two donuts instead?" Neither of us wanted a donut, and my grandmother can't eat them, so that was completely useless to us. But they refused to refund us for the bagel, which really blows my mind.
How can a company NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU PAID FOR and still keep your money? Ridiculous!
And then we pull up to get the coffees, and they messed up our order. My husband got a caramel with 4 creams, and the coffee was COMPLETELY dark, obviously no cream. He told the girl, and she's looking at the drink like she's trying to find a trace of cream in it, but there WAS NONE. So they put cream in it, and we drive off. And I taste my drink as we leave, and it honestly tasted like water with a splash of milk in it -no coffee taste to be found.
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Didn't give us something we paid for, didn't give our money back, messed up the items they did give us. Never going back to this location. We usually go to one in Rocky Hill, and have NEVER had an issue like...
Read moreThis is a hard review to write because I really do love me some DD, but this store particularly has made me feel very unwelcome, and as a result I won’t be coming here anymore. I had some errands to do nearby today and I figured I could stop by and just do a little work while waiting for my appointment times. I ordered a cup of coffee and some food, sat on a corner and did that. Now I will say I did stay there for a longer time, and I understand it would not be fair if customers want to sit down and eat their food and there was no sitting available because someone is sitting there for a long time, but this store was completely empty. Not a single customer to witness when I was approached by an employee who said “we have a time limit on how long someone is welcome in the store, you can purchase something else or you can leave”. I apologized for the inconvenience, pack my stuff and left. I guess I was bothering them blasting music so loud I couldn’t hear my thoughts. I would have purchased something else, but I chose to leave and get lunch elsewhere - and to never return of course. I hope this location gets what they are wishing for: no customers. Read moreThe location has on its door that it closes at 9pm. On most days out of the week it does, which allows me to get a coffee on my way to work. However, 2-3 days out of the week, there is an employee that closes and he closes the location early. I have asked is there a specific day that this happens so that I will not attempt to get anything but multiple employees have informed me that there is one specific employee that closes early. Supposedly the manager has spoken with the employee but the action continues. I normally would not complain but there have been times where I’m at the drive thru and he will turn off the lights when I pull up, tell me they’re closed through the speaker, or all of the lights will be on but the shade at the drive thru will be pulled down.
